I’ve had this machine for a couple of weeks and have used it several times, but it has two major malfunctions Lid latch issue: The lid will not snap down all the way into place on its own, which prevents the machine from starting. I have to place a heavy book on top just to get it to register and start heating. Timer freeze: The cycle freezes mid-run. If I set an infusion for 2 hours, the timer consistently halts around the 49-minute mark and stays stuck there until I completely unplug the unit. Beyond the technical glitches, the final infused oil isn’t any better than what I get by simply simmering herbs in oil on the stovetop for a few hours. Overall, this was a disappointing purchase and not worth the hassle. Ps. I called and they said they would send a new one almost two weeks ango and when I check Amazon my orders, nothing has been done at all. A new one is not en route, nothing.

Not much room in the resivoir only hold three sticks of butter. All around a good product for the money.
