These lights are very bright for the money spent. While the lights are of good quality and decent build. Looking at them it appears they are not made for outdoor use. However fiting them into a vehicle is easy with some simple brackets and screws from a hardware store. The one big drawback of this light bar is the fact that the cord is not nearly as long as it should be. To fix this I went to Walmart and bought a three wire industrial extension cord nd wired it in as an extension. It seems that this light bar wire supports an extension cable that screws in however the manufacturer does not sell an extension wire for this model light bar. I bought this light bar to use as a spotlight for when I load my van a night. I also bought it to stay visible to traffic when I'm stopped on the side of the road helping somebody which happens from time to time. The spotlight function works well, and lights up a large area behind my van. This light also will work when I plug it into my large battery jump pack in case I have to run it for an extended period of time. I put Amber light tape over mine so it would be half Amber half white. The stroke patterns are nice and the light bar remembers the last setting you had it on. This is a fantastic and bright light bar for the money. If you're looking for an inexpensive light bar just to be visible but not for everyday heavy duty use this bar is for you. If you're looking for a very bright industrial grade emergency light bar I suggest looking elsewhere.

i bought this light to use in my pov for the fire dept. use it pretty bright could be a little bight but it works u can see it standing about 40 yards in front of the truck in day time ... it be nice if it had white in it. was pleased for what i paid for.... ok the bad thing about the bar is it need a way to get a shild to block some of the back flash at night. it also need to have a memory flash last used add but it dont. and a cup to stick to window like the little one have. i post video of the light on youtube but cell video dosent do it justice it better in person thinking about order a white one to match it next

Good light, bad is the size of the switch that must go through the firewall along with the wire for the light. Was going to mount the switch in the engine compartment and add an on off switch at the dash. This is not possible as the light goes through different lighting modes, and cannot be simply turned on or off without going through the different light options. Great if there are no firewalls to go through, otherwise make sure you have plenty of room to get the switch which is 1.5 inches square or more

Love these lights, very bright and easy to install. Has an adjustable mounting bracket which rocked. Only gave 4 stars because there's no shield to prevent the reflections from coming back at me off the windows especially at night.
