I had bug bites from hell from a Mexico trip. This spray really helped soothe the intense itch. It didn't eliminate it completely, but helped a lot. My bites were so bad I had to spray, then apply ointment, and cover with gauze. After 2 days of that, the bites finally started shrinking and not itching as much. This spray is well worth the money.

I bought this to help a stray cat with a bad cut around his neck. If the city were to pick him up they’d have euthanized him and not bothered to treat him. But he comes to eat & drink here each night so I bought BACTINE and like a miracle the sore is finally closing after a week. I also sprayed some on the cat scratches on my legs (got to close to a fight). This product really works. Easy to use. Instantly felt better. Sprays a nice distance. Every Home and Office should store a can.

I'd buy this again! I got two additional piercings in my ear lobes, and this came recommended by my piercer. I used it twice a day as instructed, especially at the beginning of the healing phase. It helped SO much with the initial healing phase discomfort and calmed the area. That said, at one point I used it too often, and it dried out the delicate skin at the lobes and behind the ear. My skin flaked with overuse, but to fix that I applied a tiny bit of Vaseline on the affected areas twice a day with a Q tip. I stopped using this consistently about two weeks ago, and my ears are doing great - photo attached.

Bactine has been a staple in my first-aid kit. It’s easy to use, provides quick relief from the stinging and discomfort of minor cuts and scrapes, and is especially handy when you need something quick and convenient. I also like that it’s easy to apply without making a huge mess. Definitely something I like keeping on hand for everyday little accidents!

If you are a Gen X’er like me, your mom and grandmother probably had this in the medicine cabinet when you were a kid and got scraped up from playing outside. I decided to buy some as we have had annoying little night flies that come in through the screens and bite. This has stopped the itchiness and it has a great smell that takes me back to when things were less stressful (like being an adult!). It does offer a nice cooling effect too which I think works as a pain reliever. It’s a good value for the money, and I don’t experience any side effects. It’s a good addition to any medicine cabinet.
