Great Item for the Price
First off, I am not generally in the habit of writing reviews - BUT - I was so impressed with this item that I simply couldn't pass this by without saying something! Anyone that writes a poor review on this didgeridoo based solely on the materials it's made from is just a jerk. This instrument, in spite of the materials it is made of, is clearly crafted by people who care about the work they do - and if there is one thing that I appreciate the most, it's craftsmanship. Shaped into aesthetic curves then painted to give the appearance of a cherry wood stain before adding the native decorations, this instrument looks pretty darn good for the price. If you saw it without actually picking it up, you might even think that it was authentic wood. As far as the quality of sound goes, it sounds just fine to my ears and I can't wait to practice more. In summary, this is a great item and I would recommend it to anyone that doesn't want to pay a whole lot for a more traditional piece. PS - I'm going to get some bee's wax for the mouth piece as suggested by others here as well. My concern being that the moisture build-up from playing this instrument might mess up the paint finish.

Toca makes GREAT Didgeridoos !!!
This $35. didgeridoo is tied for my FAVORITE didgeridoo of the FIVE that I have collected thus far. The other four cost me: $530, $410, $130, and $40. I often think of this wonderful sounding $35 didgeridoo as possibly the deal of the century. I also own the DIDG-CTS Curved didgeridoo which is IDENTICAL to the DIDG-CG except for the color (red/brown mahogany color for the DIDG-CTS Versus black for the DIDG-CG) and the painted decoration. They are in the key of D#. I find that these have a SUPERIOR SOUND compared to the other synthetic didgeridoos that I have collected (such as the Meinl Synthetic). This may be due to the Toca's lengthwise curvature and the cross-sectional flare on the final one third of the bell end. I HIGHLY recommend these two Toca Curved didges. If you get one, you will need to abrade the inside of the didge close to the mouthpiece end to remove paint bubbles/chips. I used steel wool to do this. ALSO: I found that I could make the PVC mouthpiece more comfortable by building it up with BEESWAX (the same way that Australian aborigines form their mouthpieces). For people who do not know how this is done: just buy a wad of beeswax and let it sit in a glass of hot water for at least 5 minutes. Then pull off parts of the wad and roll them into the form of thick spaghetti. Then you can wrap this around a hard pvc or wooden mouthpiece into the shape that works best for you. As the beeswax cools, it hardens.

Great beginner's didgeridoo
I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to play the Toca didgeridoo, and the sound quality is great; even better, the price is very reasonable. Our 7-year old son loves it and learned how to play it quickly; he now wants the Toca gecko didgeridoo (same price). I would highly recommend this instrument.

Beautiful didg
Beautiful didg great value. I was so pleased with the beauty of this and the light weight. I am new to this but have found that even 30min a day you can improve so much. It is so much fun and so exiting for any age. Wonderful for kids to have something to do, you feel accomplished after every practice because you hear the difference. Can't go wrong with this so nicely made you want to play it. I can't say enough about this didg. I am over the moon with it.

Expected junk, surprised by quality! -musician's review
First off, I am a trumpet performance major at a music conservatory and I purchased this thinking it was a toy to mess around on. I was expecting a junky little tube for decoration and occasionally annoying my neighbors. How wrong I was! This is a great musical instrument with rich overtones. I've used this dij in performances after only a few weeks practice. It may take longer for you if you're not used to low aerophone buzzing, but it's got to be one of the easiest instruments to pick up. Some practice advice, Focus on getting a solid drone first, then you can add overtones by changing the vowel shape in your mouth (a, e, i, o, u) and polyphonics or singing while playing. Save circular breathing till you've mastered the previous concepts. Youtube is a great resource. While one would eventually upgrade to a termite hollowed boxwood dij, this one fits the bill for beginner and intermediate players.

Changed my life
I purchased this 'doo to upstage all the guys with guitars at my University in an attempt to get laid. Ended up starting a band with by buddy who plays the kazoo. We were the Talentless Few. We opened for Sea Swallows in Rio Rancho, New Mexico where we met the future manager of Imagine Dragons who thought we were complete garbage. My friend quit the band after that, shattering my dreams of making it big, so I joined the Army. Went to basic combat training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, where I met the Mormon missionaries and was eventually baptized. After Basic, my commanding officer also turned out to be a Mormon, so he helped me file for a conditional release so I could serve a mission for the Mormon Church. I was called to serve in Venice, Los Angeles, where I knocked on the door of Matt Stone, who was in the middle of snorting a line if coke with Trey Parker. They listened to all the lessons in one sitting and had a lot of questions. Anyways, when I got home from my mission I heard they had made a little play about the Mormons so I visited New York City to see it for myself. That's where I met my wife. We've been married for seven years and we have two kids. 5 stars.

A part ça rien à redire :)

Great Addition to any Sound Bather. But be warned haha takes air lol definitely need practice but once you get it sends good chills down everyones spine lol You don't need beeswax mouth piece to play. (I ordered and haven't used yet.) Fits my mouth pretty good. The circle breathing is tricky but its comin along. ;) I love it! ❤️
