Had a cheap version of this type of product in the past. It didn't work so was cautious about trying again. This periodic is amazing! Did exactly what it says, great results, easy to use.

Great little item, although the instructions could be better, sometimes out of frustration just end up opening the can with the ring pull which defeats the object sadly.

Always hated trying to sip through the hole in a cab , this is awesome takes the whole top off allowing better drinking !

Buy this product. It is the best thing invented for men. I have cut over 20 beer, coke and cider cans in preparation for an up coming BBQ. I was sceptical if the product would work but am more than happy. As an IPA drinker I have a limitless supply in the shops of cans I can buy to make drinking cups. On a plus side any cold drink you poor into it stays colder longer as the tin cools with the liquid . If you ou are thinking wherever to get just push the buy button 😁

This does remove the top of the can but it does it by cutting so leaves a sharp piece at the end. It's fine of you're an adult and are careful but I wouldn't let children drink from the cans.

Does as it says and does it well. Takes the tops of your beer cans and doesnt leave a sharp edge. I have now been regularly removing the top of the can, either as a class to drink or for more convenience for beer can chicken. Top product

This thing works perfect. If you’re looking for one of these tools to take the top off your cold beverage this summer, this is the one you need to buy. I previously bought a cheap one that I tried once and wasted a cold can of beer because it left it full of aluminium shavings. Immediately returned it, got this one in the mail today and couldn’t be happier. No aluminum shavings no sharp edges, do yourself a favour and spend the extra money on this premium product and don’t waste your time with the others. Cheers

I know this thing is really expensive but it's worth it IMO. I've tried a bunch of imitation ones that get sold for $5-15 online and none of them work in the same way as the Draft Top. I did wait for a promo to bring it down to $36, but if I had more patience I would've waited longer to see if it ever drops further than that haha. This version is the Universal model (the original model is the Lift, and the fancy one for bars and restaurants is the Pro). I would've ordered this regardless of the fact, but this model seems to be the only one easily available in Australia so our options are pretty limited. It's aptly named Universal since it works on different size cans. I've used it on typical Aussie cans of soft drink (375ml) as well as slim cans like 250ml of kombucha. In order words, these will work on cans of Coca Cola and Red Bull. Amazon seems to be the only place to easily get this. The official store for some reason, doesn't ship to Australia, which is a shame! They have a whole load of colours on there whereas their shop on here only has this grey version. Functionally it makes no difference, but it would've been nice to get to pick a fun colour. There is a bit of a learning curve to using this. I watched tutorials on the Draf Top youtube prior to ordering, then again right before I tried it for the first time. I can do a clean cut but I'm still trying to get the hang of not letting the lid drop into the drink haha. Genuinely, I've tried all the other no-brand drink can openers that claim to work the way this one does, but none of them do. A lot of the others cut on the outside of the can, which creates a rim that's too sharp to drink from; the Draft Top cuts on the inside, so the rim is where you'd drink from if you'd just popped the tab as usual. A lot of others don't cut smoothly and the metal ends up jagged and occasionally you end up with bits dropping into the drink; with Draft Top I've not had that issue at all when following the instructions to a T. Works on full cans AND already-empty cans. I read on the website that was the case before ordering, but have since tested it in person and can confirm. I find it easier to open the emptied cans as there's less stress about spilling liquids everywhere, but haven't had any functional issues with opening full cans either. I mean, except for the lid dropping into the can haha, but I'm gonna nail it eventually!!! Anyway, if you can't tell, I really love this thing! No regrets ordering this or spending the amount I did. If anything, I wish I ordered it sooner.

Picked this up as a total impulse buy because it looked cool, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. I’ve ended up using it on every single can of soda and beer, even when I’m not adding anything extra to the drink, just because it makes cans nicer to drink from.​ There is a small learning curve, and it’s not 100% intuitive out of the box, but the short how‑to video on the manufacturer’s site clears everything up and makes it very easy to use. Once you get the motion down, it pops the top off quickly and leaves a smooth opening that feels a lot more like drinking from a glass.​​ For the price—under $15 when I bought it—it feels like a great value, especially given how often I reach for it now. After about two weeks and roughly 20–30 cans, I’m not seeing any signs of wear or looseness, and it still works just as well as it did on day one.​ If you enjoy canned drinks and like the idea of “upgrading” the experience a bit, this is an easy little upgrade that’s absolutely worth trying. I’d happily buy it again or grab another as a gift for friends who are into beer, cocktails, or just fun bar gadgets.
