Very good quality, as described
I rarely review things, and never rush to, but I did with this product. Ironically, it was because it was exactly as described, and of very good quality, but that's so rare these days, I had to say something. They are, indeed, what I would consider heavy duty. The photos correctly display how thick the metal is. I could see how they might bend a bit under a shelf, depending on the weight, as many people complain, but that has more to do with using an L bracket for a shelf support, which is not a proper use for an L bracket. The are not the least magnetic, which probably means they are a good quality stainless steel. And they have a nice "brushed nickel" finish. The edges are crisp (some complained they were too sharp), but that only tells me they were machined well and properly. One could knock down the edge with a fine file or light sandpaper, without much trouble. If I had to quibble, they are a bit shy of 5" x 3", but that has more to do with the inaccurate translation between mm and inches. They are 124mm x 74mm, which is still shy of the stated 125mm x 75mm. So they are not 5x3, but that's because 125mm is not 5". Other than that, they are what they say they are (mostly), and they are exactly (well, better than) what I needed. If the seller wants to guard against others' complaints, they should probably clean up the inches translations, and stop calling them shelf brackets. They're L brackets, and very high quality ones at that.

Sturdy brackets
These are definitely heavy duty stainless steel “L” brackets. Very pleased. They look good and support decent weight.

Good enough.
They do exactly what I need them to do. A few came a few degrees shy of 90. Could be problematic, depending on the application.

Thick, Solid, and Great When Used as Desktop Speaker Stands
I used these to create a great set of desktop speaker stands. Weird I know, but they work really well, if you have very narrow speakers. I got a pair (well 3 pairs) of Keiid speakers, which are sadly no longer made, that are roughly 2 3/4 inches wide, 5 inches tall, and 3 1/2 inches deep (and sound absolutely amazing for how small they are) because I have a very compact/minimal desk setups (see pics). I wanted speaker stands to raise these speakers to ear height, but I could only find stands for normal bookshelf speakers that were far too large. I saw these brackets, noticed their dimensions (width and height being most important), and was inspired to make desktop speakers stands : ) First I got some clear rubber feet. Next were the correct sized nuts and bolts. Last was a roll of Velcro straps. I attached two of these brackets on the long side with the aforementioned nut and bolt creating an angular U shape. Next were the rubber feet on the "bottom" and "top" of the stand for vibration dampening. I then used the Velcro straps wrapped around the speakers and the top of the U, and that was it. For one set up I had enough stuff that I could place on top of the bottom of the stands to secure them, but for a second, more minimal glass desk set up I just used clear packing tape to secure the bottom of the stands (see pics). These brackets are very thick and surprisingly heavy and although they may be expensive they're totally worth it, both to make speaker stands and also for their intended use.

Great for floating shelves in the kitchen and living room

Strong but small
Very sturdy - not likely to bend. And can fit into small spaces. Short screws provided too, which is just as well as I don’t have screws that short with a big enough head
