2016 collection from the British singer/songwriter featuring a selection of tracks from across his extensive back catalog as well as two brand new tracks. David Gray's early music was in a contemporary folk-rock, singer-songwriter mode; his primary instrument was acoustic guitar, with occasional piano. Starting with the release of 1998's White Ladder, Gray began to make significant use of computer-generated music to accompany his voice and acoustic instrumentation, a technique which differentiates him from many of his peers. Despite the move to more complex music, Gray has used small-scale, often home-based, recording methods and equipment and espoused a do-it-yourself approach to music production.

Extraordinary Album!
This would be a fine album if it were the single CD version but the bonus CD was every bit as good!

Album came in good condition/ fast delivery
This is one of mine & my Husbands favorite artists so I was excited to find this on Amazon to give to him for Christmas. It came quickly and in good condition. I would definitely order from them in the future.

Not bad for a best of.
Free digital download scratched the D Side of this record, which is a bummer, but it is only a small pop on one track. Otherwise the press sounds good.

I love this artists songs , so I bought this CD
I was expecting all the songs to be his best, but they weren’t so I guess I was a little disappointed in that way. Too bad we can’t put our own choices . That’s how it goes good and sort of good~ He is amazing~ New stuff is even better if that’s possible. I will look for his collections to come…

Poor CD quality
First, I love this music, not my issue.I rip all my music then donate the CDs. I always rip at 320 kbps.Both discs in this set had major issues with the last few songs. I use MediaMonkey for everything and these 2 CDs drove MM nuts trying to rip them. No, cleaning them didn't help. I then ripped using Nero which was a big improvement, don't ask me why. The recordings were still unacceptable so I complained to Amazon, who were kind enough to replace the 2 CD set. Thanx Amazon!However, the replacements CDs were better but still poor on the same few songs. I finally decided to drop the bitrate on just the bad songs down to 256 kbps & presto, they were great, using Nero again.So, you rippers out there, be advised.One small note about the actual music....Way too much finger noise on CD2, Track 15, Shine. DG must be a smoker.

Le versioni delle canzoni sono ricantate.
Ero convinto che si trattasse di una raccolta con le canzoni nella loro originaria versione; invece, sono state riadattate ad una nuova edizione, e questo non mi è affatto piaciuto, per me queste inziative commerciali discografiche sanno di imbroglio e raggiro. In ogni modo, non ho reso il CD per mera rassegnazione.
