Early review
Early review: so I can’t give it 4 stars because I knew from the start it was about 2-3 inches taller than the norm for standard bench. However yes it is taller so please keep that in mind I’m 5’7 and when lying down I’m not flat to the ground for my feet. Also yes the padding isn’t soft at all it’s pretty stiff. That being said I think it looks nice and at least mine the build quality on it is good for the price. Easy to build everything was included and I feel secure on it mine does not wobble or anything it feels good and planted. Overall yes it is not perfect but I like it and for the time being it’s solid

A very cool bench
I went without a workout bench for decades, and after buying this one, I didn't know what I ever did without it! It folds, it adjusts, it makes every shape you need to lift, push, stretch, and pump iron. I like that it is rock solid, never a thought of it shaking, tipping, or bending under load. It folds compactly and sets up quickly. The only thing is, expect to put the feet on wrong the first time you assemble it (guilty). Having your own ratchet driver is nice, as the janky wrench they include in the kit is almost worthless. But, you only have to put it together once. Or twice, if you get the feet wrong the first time...

Sturdy, Comfortable, and Folds Away Fast – Great for Home Workouts!
The FLYBIRD Adjustable Weight Bench has been a great addition to my home workout space. It’s sturdy, well-built, and very easy to set up and adjust. I use it for everything from presses to core work, and it feels secure and comfortable during every movement. The adjustability and folding feature are excellent—I love how quickly it folds up and how little space it takes when stored. The padding is firm and supportive, making longer sessions more comfortable. One small thing to note: there’s a gap between the seat and backrest when it’s set at certain angles. It’s not a dealbreaker at all, but I did end up placing a folded towel in the gap for added comfort during certain exercises like bench presses or flys. That quick fix worked perfectly. Overall, this is a high-quality bench at a great price, and the space-saving design makes it ideal for home use. I’d definitely buy it again and recommend it to others!

Sturdy and functional
Great, sturdy bench! Not wobbly or ricketty like some budget benches. I love that it folds up, so perfect for a home gym with limit space. Very comparable to a commercial gym bench. The instructions to put it together were super easy to follow. It’s comfortable and looks great.

Good Bench, Solid Investment
Stardate - March 2021. I have two of these benches, both have been in use daily since Sept 2020, about 6 months. When I travel, I take one with me. One served for a while as a chair/bench for my home office. Both benches are used for bench press, incline bench, spider curls, sit ups, weighted situps, seated military press, rows, flys, french press, etc, etc, etc - all the typical exercises one does with a bench. Thus far, both benches have served very well, without issues. I did not attempt to fully test the 600 lb weight capacity but I did get up around 500 lb and the bench felt stable to me. These are solid/strong benches, but there is some movement under load; this is to be expected with a lightweight folding bench. The little bit of movement is, to me, minor and easy to live with. The back-pad is about 11 inches wide. I'd like a wider pad. But, because "form ever follows function", compromises must be made sometimes. Overall, these benches were a solid purchase. Sure, there are bigger, sturdier, and more stable benches out there but they cost more, are not available, and do not fold or travel easily. FlyBirds, on the other hand, were available, did not break the bank, do fold up and travel easily, and they do get the job done. They set up in a snap, and the price is on-point. Pros They were available during pandemic, at the regular price - kudos to FlyBird Fitness for not price gouging. Delivered in less than a week - amazing considering some fitness companies take 2 weeks to ship a t shirt. Over performs on all expectations. Excellent ROI, great value. Impressive and seemingly accurate max weight rating, Moves, stores, and travels easily. Solid construction, quality materials. Padding is better than expected, very comfortable. Glossy finish on metal and vinyl covering cleans easy. Looks good. Good range of adjustments, heavy duty pins feel solid. Leg attachment is super helpful. Does decline - huge plus. Cons Plastic leg/feed end caps can/will come off sometimes. (fixable with glue) Not absolutely 100% rock solid (minor and expected) Gap between seat/back pad forces me to shift position sometimes. (minor/typical/expected) Had to lubricate detent pins for seat/back adjustment. (minor/expected) Back does not adjust to 90", there is a slight incline at max upright position. (being picky here) Takeaway Great value, great return on initial investment. I wanted a bench that I can put in a closet, or the trunk of my car easily. It needed to be comfortable enough so I want to use it, support up to 500 lb, cost less than $200, and be stable enough so I had confidence when lifting some decent weight. This FlyBird met and exceeded all expectations.

Solid and sturdy!
Love! So easy to assemble (fold), under 15 minutes. Sturdy and aesthetically pleasing solid black with only the single logo on the bench. Bench will definitely work for a taller person. I'm a shorty so my feet aren't completely flat on the floor, but the bench is so solid and zero wobbling. I love it for home use and ability to fold and store. For reference I am 5 ft. 108lbs.

Pretty OK; little unstable; But way too tall.
It's an OK bench, it's a little unstable, it adjusts very easily and it feels sturdy it just feels like it wobbles a bit. My main issue with it, and the thing that brought me back to write this review, is that it's just too tall. The product listing doesn't have the actual height of the bench listed anywhere, but from the floor to the top of the pad it's 20.5 inches. That's 3.5 inches more than a standard bench, and it really matters. As a result, I can't put my feet flat on the floor comfortably, and I'm going to be replacing this bench.

Bang For Buck
Preface this with I am, as my loving wife says, 100% on the spectrum (lmao), because I won’t make any purchases over $20 without a lot of research and review video watches. I sat this in my garage gym Amazon list for months while researching incline/decline/fid benches. Rep fitness (which is my favorite brand and is what weight plates I have in the pic), rogue, titan, and all the cheaper Amazon available options. One of my favorite reviewers on YouTube (plug for this beasts page named “garage gym reviews”) was one of the most helpful videos. He worded it best with a “gateway bench.” You try the cheaper option and eventually upgrade. Personally this one fits my needs and I don’t think I’ll need the upgrade to a rep fitness $300 bench. A few things I’ve noticed since review have happened, the legs NOW have adjustable levelers that are rubber based to stop sliding. That is an awesome feature, even though I don’t need it. Very helpful. This bench won’t be the best for padding but I’m not trying to camp out in my garage and sleep there so it’s not a big deal. Get the work done and move on to the next thing. There is a bit of a wiggle but I’m a 250 lb buff fat, because pizza is too good. It’s stable and holds at all incline decline work. Not nervous at all anymore after I finished the first lifts with it. Solid metal. I’m a HUGE fan of the quick release pull buttons to change the degrees of the seat and back. Super simple. The leg roller rest, leg holder, whatever you want to call it is super stable for the amount of weight I throw it’s way. One thing I didn’t know about until I orders is that there are a few different holes you can attach it at to adjust the actual placement. Honestly not too big of a deal because it also has a pin so you can rotate it, but it’s a helpful option so you can adjust for your height. (That’s the blue arrow) It’s fully assembled, just throw the pin in when you unfold it. E A S Y. One final thing… it FOLDS so you can avoid the fight that comes from “I can’t believe you bought a second bench I need my space in the garage too.” Throw it on a shelf or just on top of your flat bench like I do. Happy wife happy life. Go lose weight, gain muscle, and don’t take up your better half’s space. Happy wife happy life. Extremely satisfied with this bench’s features vs price. *chefs kiss*
