Excellent product, reasonably priced

Solid build , love it

Cool concept killed by inadequate blade retention.
Admittedly I’m a fan of switchblades, specifically out of the front (OTF) ones. So when I saw they now make and sell utility knives with this same premise I was excited. However, the excitement was short lived by one glaring problem, the Achilles heel of this specific knife. The blade retention “system” which is basically just a piece of stamped metal with a tab in it. This is all that keeps the blade in. Except the problem is it DOESN’T. I’ve tried with multiple blades of different manufacturers, standard utility knife blades, and none of them will stay locked in. I’ve had them come out simply cutting tape on boxes. I’ve also had a couple times where the knife, when deployed, shoots the blade out. Cool concept, but the non-existent blade retention really makes this knife useless to most.
