WUNDERBROW Eyebrow Gel, Waterproof, Smudgeproof, Lasts for Days, Shade: Deep Black/Brown, Vegan and Cruelty-Free

I bought this on a whim as usually its about £18-22 in Superdrug etc and at £10 i couldn't resist on the quest for a perfect brow product. I had the shade 'Black/Brown' and i have dark brown, to basically black eyebrows, I didn't want the black shade as there's no coming back from sharpie brows. Other reviews said that the shades didn't match up and i would agree. This should work for medium-dark brown to nearly black brows as it's basically the colour of milk chocolate, but builds up to be darker. The consistency is that of liquid foundation, and i put it on the back of my hand and got a very thin angled brow brush to apply it. I was pleasantly surprised how it went on. I went in lightly, and it worked really well. I have sparse eyebrows, and it tends to look ridiculous when i fill in the top line of my eyebrow because there isn't any hair there but it would look silly if i didn't :( this has done a great job of blending the lack of brow with my brow, something i struggle with on the daily. It dries down quickly as if you've put a liquid lipstick that doesn't crack on your brows. It would work well simply as a brow gel if you coated the cheap spoolie wand they provide too, rather than a brow filler if thats what you're looking for. It's not perfect; it can look a little harsh and i imagine i'll be practicing a bit before going outside with it on my eyebrow, but so far the video of them dragging their finger across it and nothing come off seems to be true. couldn't get it off my hand without a good minute of vigorously scrubbing at it. However, this is bad for when you make a mistake and cant get it off the eyebrow. all in all, for a tenner, great value. Don't think i'd stretch to £20 though i can see why its marketed that price. The creator must've been ecstatic when they tested it and it didn't budge; that's a real 1st world problem for eyebrows these days. Would recommend.

I’ve been using WUNDERBROW Eyebrow Gel in Black/Brown for a few weeks now, and it’s honestly one of the longest lasting brow products I’ve tried. The color looks natural, not too warm or overly dark, and it fills sparse areas without making my brows look drawn on. What impressed me most is the staying power. Once it sets, it really does stay put through long days, workouts, and even light rain without smudging. A little goes a long way, so the tube should last quite a while. The formula takes a bit of practice at first because it dries quickly, but using short, light strokes gives the best results. I also appreciate that it’s vegan and cruelty free. Overall, this is a great option if you want defined, fuller looking brows that actually last all day and beyond without constant touch ups.

Firstly let me say I have used tons of eyebrow products from pencils to crayons to gels to mascara type formulations. I am in my late forties and (although, happily, people tell me I look much younger!) I have got very sparse brows and one of them is also compromised by a scar running right through it which, although unnoticeable, does make the hairs either not grow, or grow a bit hit and miss. I think the most important thing in a brow product is the colour. TBH, I think as long as the shade is right, then the product is secondary as it is wearing the wrong shade that makes eyebrows stand out for all the wrong reasons. Apart from that, if the product is applied too heavily or badly then that is also not a good look. So, on to WunderBrow - I really like this product! Was a bit sceptical at first because I thought it would look fake, but it doesn't and I think it is probably the most natural looking product I have tried. I have highlighted, coloured blonde hair, but my natural brows are a mousey brown - that means they have a cool, greyish tinge to them and not a reddish tinge, which so many brow products go for - the reddish browns that look awful, on me at least. So, I started with the brunette (not from this seller), but it was surprisingly light and looked a bit orangey. I then ordered the black/brown from this seller without much hope, thinking it would be too dark, but it isn't. Applied lightly, I gain a very natural, thicker brow and if I want the brows to be a little more intense I can simply apply more product. The shade isn't perfect for me - it could still be a little mousey-er, but it's pretty close. The key is to apply using very tiny brush strokes in the same direction as the hair (ie slightly upwards towards your forehead) using the bottom line of your brows as your starting point and guide. Avoid simply painting on horizontally across your brows as this will just look odd. You can then fill in or shape more when you have your basic shape. Unlike some others, I don't mind the brush - you just have to make sure you wipe off most of the product on the side of the tube before applying to avoid a gloopy mess - you can then add more if you need to. If you apply with a light, feathery touch, you don't need to be too quick about it, but if you do splodge too much on then use the little brush to blend and distribute as quickly as you can as this stuff does stick pretty well once it's on. I find it darkens a little once it has been on an hour or two. It did take me a week or so of perfecting my technique to realise that I will definitely be re-purchasing this product so stick with it if you've only just started. Like I said, if the shade is a good match it is worth persevering because that, for me, is the most important thing. Hopefully, they will bring out a greater range of shades in time. The reason I have dropped a star is because, like others have said, this does not last more than a day - if you cleanse your face properly at night! However, I think it would definitely survive a rain storm, would probably last through a gym session and might possibly be still there after a swim. After a day's hard and messy DIY work last weekend I had a quick shower to wash the dust from my hair and my brows were still perfect afterwards (always do my make up, even before ripping plasterboard off my ceilings!!).

As an avid review reader, I always check out the negative reviews first, to see if there is a pattern or whether it's just that people have chosen the wrong product or had a bad customer service experience. I am giving this product a 5 star review, because it does exactly what it sets out to do, which is to give an enhanced brow which appears less flat than the effect achieved with a pencil or powder. To answer some of the one star comments, there used to be a cartoon in my hairdresser's which said, 'madam, this is a comb, not a magic wand! '. All beauty and make up products rely in part on the skill of the person applying them to achieve the best results, and if you follow the instructions and practise a bit, the product is easy to apply and effective. The brush is a bit large, but you need very little so wipe most of it on the side of the tube, then use the tip of the brush in a dabbing motion to make small strokes rather than as a paintbrush over the brow. Yes, the product does work by applying a layer of colour to the skin, but if you brush the brows when the product is wet, as it dries the hairs start to appear fuller, similar to a mascara effect on lashes but softer. You can layer it up for a fuller look, and to fill in more sparse areas. I can't understand the comments about lack of fibres- I am presuming that the fibres are very small and not intended to be visible, the product definately plumps up the hairs that are there. There is some lack of shape definition if the product is used alone, but if you use a sharp brow pencil afterwards it is easy to achieve a more defined look, but I found the effect quite natural on its own. Other negative reviews mentioned longevity of the product once applied. Personally I would not leave any makeup on overnight, and as this is no more difficult or time consuming to apply that pencil or powder, I don't see any advantage to leaving it on. During normal wear it doesn't come off, lasts all day and is smudge and water proof. It is easily removed with any brand of eye makeup remover, it doesn't need a special remover. Another review mentioned that it feels stiff or uncomfortable. Although when first applied there is a bit of a tightening sensation,as your natural facial expressions move the muscles, this sensation soon disappears and I have not been aware of the product on my skin. As a now grey natural redhead who's (dyed) hair colour is a highlighted caramel blond, with eyebrows tinted light-ish brown, I had no idea what colour to order. I went for the blonde which looks extremely pale in the tube, but is a natural looking light brown when applied. I would recommend this product for anyone with sparse eyebrows, it really works.

I really liked this eyebrow makeup at first as it stayed put longer than most and I liked the shade. Then when parts started to rub off and I filled them it I didn’t quite get the right shape but it set so quickly I couldn’t alter it. Just couldn’t remove it and had to wait a couple of days before I could. Also it set like concrete so didn’t feel natural at all! Shame but that’s my experience of it. I am returning to pencils as they are more natural.

I'm a bit rubbish at anything cosmetic that's fiddly, don't do much with my eyebrows and can't bear the 'done with a sharpie' look. But I also have light brows, which are a decent shape naturally but nothing exciting. So having read the mostly positive reviews I decided to give it a go, having done a shape n pluck at home and being left with same pale meh brows. It arrived and I cautiously had a first go, worried by the "long lasting" claims. Short news, it worked really well and was very simple. No Coco the Clown outcome, just a darker version of my own brows. The brush is very fine and flexible. Taking the advice of many here I brushed off excess against the bottle and applied lightly but allowing to build up as I went if needed. A one coat with a little bit of dotting a bit extra was all I needed. Even a cack-handed amateur like me managed it first time. I had also bought a slant brush as per the advice of others but honestly don't feel it's needed. It's a slight shock to see myself with darker brows (but nothing like the time I had it done at one of the well know brow product make up counter and nearly cried at the horror of the effect, begging the woman to clean it off before anyone saw me) but I sense-checked with a passing family member who didn't laugh/faint so I take that as it looks normal, just a bit more defined/visible (ie darker). I went for Auburn because I'm a red head (duh) but considered the Fair as auburn sometimes means reddish dark brown (too dark for my pale skin) but Fair is often too ashy for me. Auburn is perfect, a reddish mid brown that looks very natural even directly against my fringe. Clearly I applied lightly so no doubt I could go stronger if I needed. I have been quite concious of rubbing my eyebrows (do I do that normally, is it the product?) but have slept in it and it's not budged or faded or rubbed off as yet. My slight worrying about any irritation from the product was unfounded. It's not the cheapest thing ever but as cosmetics go and given it does what it promises so far as I can tell, I think it's decent value. Downside, it's made me aware that I might benefit from a professional brow shaping now people can actually see them :)

I would not recommend, I’ve had some makeup training and so thought I’d ignore the negative reviews and try myself as I love their lip stain. But the applicator is too bulky, so used my own to be more precise, but it goes on a bit sticky, then when you brush it out (as per the instructions) it does go a bit grey which others had pointed out in their reviews. I did try leaving it on without brushing it but I did need to even it out with other products. Plus it just felt a bit greasy. I did go swimming and some of it stayed on but not all (which I was thankful for as it didn’t look great)

Amazing. I'm so glad I took the chance on this. I almost didnt buy it because of bad reviews but I couldnt help myself and took the plunge. I have medium brown hair and chose the Brunette shade. It's a tiny shade lighter than my hair....which is perfect for a natural look, I dont want great big black caterpillars on my face haha. First off...the application brush that comes in the tube is useless to me but then I knew it would be after watching so many review videos. It's just too big and thick for me and it would put far too much product on. So I dont use that...I use a proper angled eyebrow brush as found in many basic makeup brush kits. Application is easy. I make sure that I wash my face really well and make sure to dry the skin well. Leaving no natural skin oils, cleaning products or any moisture on my skin,,,,then I grab my brush and product and apply in exactly the same way as I used to apply my Rimmel Brow This Way. Small brush strokes all going in the same direction and smoothing things over with the spoolie brush provided with Wunderbrow to make sure I have no harsh edges or lines, keeping the whole look well shaped but natural looking. I have VERY little eyebrow hair. I overplucked as a teenager and it just never grew back. It's also very very blonde so without eyebrow products I literally look like I have NO eyebrows. Uch, Awful. However I apply wunderbrow to the areas of my eyebrows that SHOULD have hairs...but dont and it looks great. You cant tell that my brows are so sparse. It does go on a little thin to begin with but is very easy to build up in any areas where you may want a slightly deeper colour and you only need the TINIEST amount on your eyebrow brush so having to build up any colour in places still uses hardly any product. The price of this is what put me off as I dont have money to throw away but it's more than worth it. The whole tube is going to last me AGES and in the long run will actually save me money! After I finish application that's it. Those babies are NOT coming off. After first applying it I tested it out with a hard rub...nothing. You can rub your hands over your eyebrows and NOTHING will come off. They're just there to stay. If you have oily skin be aware that this will mean you have to take a little more care than other people as oil removes the product. I go to sleep at night happily and in the morning I just gently place a piece of tissue over my brows and press down (press....not rub) to remove any oils that have built up during the night. Wunderbrow stays on during this and this process means my eyebrows will last longer as if your skin becomes very oily then it will wipe wunderbrow off. My eyebrows now last for 3 days!! No need to apply new eyebrows every morning, It's made my makeup routine so much easier when i'm getting ready for the school run. I'm able to wake up with beautiful sculpted eyebrows and not have to freak out if I wipe my face in public and think ive wipes my eyebrow off. I'll be buying more when this tube eventually runs out! That's for sure.

I will never use another brow filler again, now that I have Wunderbrow. Pros: - The most natural looking brows you can hope to get. Unlike powders, that give off a very obvious filled-in look - this will look like you were simply born with perfect eyebrows. - The blonde is subtle shade. I found powder blondes deceiving, in that they look light in the makeup pot but still look too dark when applied. That is not the case here, you will get a very light brown / dark blonde result with Wunderbrow and it blends so nicely. - Long-wearing! My favourite part about this, is that I can go to sleep and they're still there in the morning so I don't have to rush to the bathroom to reapply when my boyfriend sleeps over (hahaha). Also, they'll stay on when wet (rain, swimming, etc.) / won't smudge or wipe away so long as you don't firmly scrub them off. I found I could apply one day for a fully filled in look, that would still last until evening of day 2 or morning of day 3. - Skin friendly. At least for me, I have not found any irritation and it does not cause me to breakout. Cons: - The applicator wand is too short. When you get down to the bottom of the applicator, the wand doesn't reach all the way so there's still a good amount of product going unused... which is frustrating because Wunderbrow is addictive. - The secondary brow/mascara brush will get gunky after a while if you don't clean it. Part of Wunderbrow's effectiveness is the little faux fibre hairs that are mixed into the product to actually fill your brows. So, if you don't clean the accompanying brow brush ever you will find it rendered useless if too much product builds up. These little mini-mascara wands are dirt cheap though and you can buy them in bulk if you simply must have them to brush out your brows after applying with the main wand. Not a dealbreaker. - Price. Ugh. It's worth it though if you're obsessed with brows like I am.

Apres en avoir essayé d'autres de d'autres marques, au final je reviens a celui ci car pour moi c'est le meilleur sur la couleur et son maintient waterproof inégalable avec les autres marques. Ich habe einmal das Produkt in der Farbe "Auburn" und "Black-brown" gekauft, da ich mir mit dem Farbton nicht sicher war. Als erstes muss ich sagen, dass ich von Natur aus sehr wenige und sehr helle Augenbrauen habe. Normalerweise trage ich Permanent Makeup, dies ist aber schon sehr verblasst und da ich zur Zeit schwanger bin, dauert es noch lange, bis ich es wieder auffrischen kann. Deshalb war ich auf der Suche nach einem guten Ersatz, der lange hält und auch nicht all zu künstlich aussieht, da ich meine Augenbrauen komplett nachmalen muss. Ich war erst skeptisch, ob das Produkt auch das hält, was es verspricht, denn 30€ sind schon viel Geld für ein bisschen Schminke. Aber ich wurde komplett vom Gegenteil überzeugt. Das Produkt ist in beiden Farben wirklich schön, es sieht auch nicht all zu wuchtig aus und vorallem, es hält echt lange. Ich habe beide Farben unter fast identischen Bedingungen getestet und muss sagen, ich bin wirklich überzeugt. Ich habe es Abends nach dem Duschen auf die trockene Haut aufgetragen und bin dann so ins Bett, um die Haltbarkeit zu testen. Am nächsten Morgen war es immer noch wie frisch aufgetragen. Auch das allmorgendliche Gesichtwaschen und mein kleiner Sohn haben dem Produkt nichts anhaben können. Abends habe ich dann beim Haare waschen versucht, das Produkt nur mit Wasser und rubbeln abzuwaschen- Ergebnis: Es hält bombenfest. Erst mit Shampoo und ordentlich rubbeln ist es langsam weggegangen. Also meiner Meinung nach auch für jeden Schwimmbadaufenthalt geeignet. Das einzige, was am Anfang etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig ist, ist, dass man sehr vorsichtig bei der Dosierung sein sollte. Ich habe beim Ersten Auftragen leider etwas zu viel erwischt, was dazu geführt hat, dass es über den Tag leichte Risse bekommen hat und dann auch etwas "abgebröckelt" ist. Aber beim zweiten Mal habe ich dann nur ganz dünne Schichten aufgetragen und damit war das Ergebnis wirklich super. Man braucht auch etwas Übung, bis man schnell genug im Auftragen ist, denn das Produkt ist nach 3-4 Minuten getrocknet und geht auch mit Wattestäbchen und Seife nur mit sehr viel rubbeln wieder langsam ab. Also sollte man wenn möglich, von Anfang an sehr genau arbeiten, um Korrekturen zu vermeiden. Wenn man doch mal etwas wegwischen muss, dann sollte man das wirklich ganz flott machen, dann geht es noch gut weg - selbst nur mit Wasser. Und ich empfehle auch jedem, einen Pinsel zu verwenden, der extra für Augenbrauen geeignet ist. Der mitgelieferte Pinsel eignet sich überhaupt nicht zum aufmalen- man kann damit lediglich das Produkt aus dem Fläschchen holen und dann mit dem Augenbrauenpinsel geringe Mengen davon aufnehmen. Fazit: Pro: Tolles Produkt, lange Haltbarkeit (mind. 2 Tage), schöne Farbe, gerechtfertigter Preis, auch für Personen "ohne Augenbrauen" geeignet Kontra: für ungeübte Personen schwierig aufzutragen, man muss flott arbeiten, mitgelieferter Pinsel ist nicht zu gebrauchen
