GOOD PRODUCT. Using since 2 months it's very useful .

After a month and 15 days of its usage, I feel it's time to share my experience with this product here on Amazon. REVIEW: --------------- 1) Appearance ----------------------- It looks exactly as advertised on the page and is decent enough to have it openly in sight any time rather than hiding it from plane sight after the workout. 2) Length ---------------- It is 1.5 foot in length and is more than enough to support the entire barbell either on your neck or on your traps without hurting you, depending on which workout you choose to do with it. 3) Material & Quality ------------------------------ Made of some kind of a plastic based material, it covers the internal foam like a cloth does, and is made of pretty good quality. However, the stitches are the ones to look out for because the thread tends to lose its grip on such materials easily and won't last long if the work done on it is shabby. The one I have received seems to hold it all together well and has been in use from day 1 of buying it. It locks to the barbell with the help of Velcro lining throughout the corner of its length and the Velcro does a good job staying on as you lock it. 4) Usability ----------------- It is designed to be used with an Olympic bar and that's as big a diameter as it can fit without causing troubles. 5) Pricing ---------------- Rs. 899/- seems a little too much for the product. If you can find it at around Rs. 500/- or less than Rs. 600/-, it may be worth it. CONS: ------------ Yes, there's a major drawback when it comes to using this product as suggested and one needs to be alert and very careful while working out with this attached to a barbell. > There is absolutely no knurling / grip on the barbell where we lock this in place and hence, it tends to roll on the barbell no matter how tightly you lock it in place. This gives rise to the danger of the barbell rolling downwards from the neck quite easily if you are not holding the barbell extra firmly in place, especially when you are holding over 70 Kilos of weight on your neck to do Barbell Squats (Personal Experience!!!). > Fitness Centres are a hub where lot of people workout and drench in sweat. This product being non-waterproof, when used, absorbs the sweat very easily and that is visible as a dark patch because of the blue color. Until the sweat dries out, anybody will be able to figure out the sweaty barbell pad and will ignore using it. Hence, it is more suitable for home gyms where there's usually one person using it. CONCLUSION: ------------------------- It's a must have product if you ever plan on working out with a barbell on your neck / traps. If you can handle what I've mentioned in the cons section, this product is definitely worth investing! UPDATE (June 2019) ------------------------------ It has been 1.7 years now since I bought this product and it is still in use but the velcro gives up easily and the load bearing capacity is now a little less than what it used to be because it has been used extensively all these days. Carrying weights in excess of 20 Kilos each side of the barbell has become a pain in the neck; literally! I have shared the most recent image of the product along with this updated review. All in all, it has served its purpose quite well and I am satisfied with it.

It is Ok quality. Fits snugly on olympic barbell. Stitching of velcro could have been better.

Terrible! I returned the product. Got it to do hip thrust but the cushioning was not enough at all.

Really good product and helpful but if i got black colour i would have gave 5 star

Very useful stuff both for squats and also deadlifts to protect your shins and knees

Firmer than expected, and the Velcro doesn't close all the way because of the stretch, but does the job well and fits perfectly on a 5 ft barbell.
