Authentic Foods Gluten Free Pizza Crust Mix delivers a gum-free, vegan, and allergen-conscious dough that rises in 30 minutes to create two 9-inch pizzas. Certified kosher and free from common allergens, it offers a versatile base for pizzas, breadsticks, and crackers. While praised for its stretch and ease, note the higher sodium content per serving, making it ideal for those mindful of flavor and dietary restrictions but less suited for low-sodium diets.

Great mix
Best mix I’ve found. Good flavor too. Don’t need stand mixer, I mix by hand with a sturdy spoon. Works just fine.

Can be very unhealthy for folks with hypertension
We were hoping this was gonna be a great GF pizza. It turned out being not to our liking on several fronts. After baking cooking at 750 degrees, the crust turned out to be surprisingly fluffy and soft. It didn't want to cook through without scorching the crust exterior or the undercarriage. The mix may include a baking powder leavening agent. It was really fluffy and tender. The sodium content in the mix is sky high. The label says 410 mg sodium per serving which is per single slice. That's a very heavy hit! Lots of folks that eat gluten free need low to moderate sodium. Checking an AI interpretation (GROK), it confirmed: Quick breakdown of what that means for sodium intake per slice of finished crust (from the mix alone): ~410mg sodium. Whole pizza (8 slices, crust only): ~3,280mg sodium — well over the daily 2,300mg recommended limit for most adults (and even higher if you follow the stricter 1,500mg target often advised for hypertension). Eating 2–3 slices? That’s already 820–1,230mg just from the crust, before any toppings, sauce, cheese, or the rest of your meal. This sodium comes from the mix itself (salt + sodium aluminum phosphate in the ingredients). The package directions (add water, yeast, oil) don’t add meaningful extra sodium. We added a quick rise yeast, and rise it did, As a ready for the oven pizza dough, how did it do? How did it handle and launch? Actually, it was the best GF mix I've used. It slid right off the hardwood peel (with corn meal). It was kind of soft and floppy to turn on the stone. The finished product didn't handle well. The taste wasn’t like a 6 or 7 out of 10 scale pizza. We weren’t expecting miracles, but this mix cost like one. I started by giving this product a four-star review but reconsidered after the taste, lack of crunch and effect on my BP. It wouldn't take much to make this a really good product. Outside of mixes, other products from Authentic Foods are excellent. This one should not be consumed if you have a blood pressure problem. It might harm you.

Amazing GF crust - tastes like the real thing
I've tried so many different GF pizzas over the years, and rarely do I find one that I would want to eat again. This crust is awesome. It tastes so good, the texture is great and it felt like eating real pizza. I have other food allergies as well and this crust allows me to avoid them, including not needing eggs in the dough. It's also very easy to make. I'll definitely keep eating this and would gladly recommend it to others. I am so happy that I found it!

Great, really should follow directions
For anyone who has extreme food allergies like I do, I would definitely recommend this pizza mix. I searched for a pizza mix that was gluten free, egg free and yeast free. Even though the mix doesn't list any yeast in the ingredients, the instructions say to add dry yeast. I was devastated and then I looked up yeast free pizza ingredients on google and I realized all I had to do was use the pizza mix add water or milk, olive oil and 1 tbs of baking powder (instead of yeast) and the instructions on the mix say to put pizza on the bottom rack, I would recommend to do that because the dough takes longer to golden. My pizza tasted pretty good for not having any yeast or gluten. I would buy this again.

Perfect and delicious
This is the best pizza I have ever had! If you follow the directions, you will get a perfectly crisp crust with a soft center. My whole family loved it and couldn't tell that it was Gluten free!

Does not come with a yeast packet
I have not tried this yet, because it did not come with a yeast packet and the recipe calls for that. There should have been a notice that I would have seen before I purchased this. It seems impossible to get yeast now so I would not have purchased this if I had known. It should come with a yeast packet.

Delicious!
I didn't think a gluten free pizza crust could taste so good. It is fluffy and delicious. By far the best pizza mix I've tried.

Best gluten free crust
We have been vegan and gluten free since 2012 and this is the closest to a normal crust that I have ever had. Great for making pizza, calzones, and monkey bread.

Excellent but pricey
The outcome is great but it is pricey. I tried the recipe on the back and it worked out just fine. I did try another brand gf flour and it was not the same outcome. I will try the same flour again but will follow Vito Iacopelli’s method on YouTube, as he used this brand gf flour.

It made me sick
Taste was good and cooked well sadly I don’t feel like this is truly gluten free as I vomited my life away after eating waste of money , expensive for small quantity
