Cyberpunk 2077 on the switch 2 is fantastic
This game runs fantastic on the switch 2 I haven’t had any issues with it so far the only issues I have seem to be driving around in handheld mode sometimes I’ll get some frame drops. It seems in certain areas when I’m driving around, but otherwise it plays great. They added in a mouse controls and motion controls, and all that is a lot of fun. I have mainly been playing it with the pro controller. I have not gotten to the DLC so I don’t know how it plays at that point. I have heard that the framer isn’t as stable supposedly but there’s also a lot more going on in the environment. There’s a lot more particles and all sorts of stuff I keep seeing a lot of people they don’t even have a switch say that this game looks terrible. It really doesn’t and something to keep in mind that is coming from somebody that does not have a super high-end PC, but my graphics card still cost more alone than what to switch 2 cost I have a PlayStation five as well and I mainly play PC and I think this game looks beautiful both and handheld mode and when you have it docked to a TV I currently have a dock to my 27 inch ROG 1440 P mini LED monitor through the HDMI cable that came with the console and I have absolutely zero complaints. I am also mainly playing it in performance mode now something to be noted is in the settings. There is graphics mode for handheld and TV and if you try and do performance mode in TV, it says the requirements are your TV must have a high refrigerate 120 Hz/HFR if not, this mode will not be supported and will be grayed out You also have the option in the settings to play with the HDR settings by pushing down on the left joystick that will bring up your HDR settings. You can adjust the maximum brightness tone mapping mint point paper white HDR 10 PQ saturation I have not personally played with any of that also earlier I did not mention this is also a fully HDR 10 monitor. I definitely have to say this game gates way too much hate on the switch honestly is already getting too much in general for what you’re getting out of this game on this console it is definitely a great way to play it. I never finish the game. I plan on finishing it if need be I will add an update later down the road to this review and I will date it when I add in the edit but as of now I’m about five hours into it. I was waiting on my pro controller to show up and it didn’t get delivered when it was supposed to so currently as of Saturday I’m about five hours into it after lunch.

Must have game!!
Great game a must have in the collection and looks great docked and in handheld mode. The storyline is great and you get the additional liberty story added to this.

Amazing to be running this well on Switch 2!
Cyberpunk 2077 is an amazing technical achievement to be running this well on the little ole Switch 2. The game looks great and feels great. You won't miss anything with playing this version of the game. I'm currently enjoying my play through and having a ton of fun running around Night City while doing so. The game controls very well even with the default joycon 2s. Don't miss out on this version of the game, ESPECIALLT if you haven't played the game yet. Get lost in Night City and I promise you the hours will slip by without you even noticing it! It's that immersive. 10 star game!

An Excellent Way To Play This Game!
A very neat and solid way to play this game! The performance doesn't match top of the line systems, but it is good enough for me to call this a technical marvel on the Switch 2. If you already own the game, there really isn't much reason to get this version unless you're looking for a solid way to play this game portably, or you really want to play with the Switch 2's motion controls/combat.

Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition - Nintendo Switch 2
Didn’t expect much on Switch 2 but it’s actually solid. Graphics are lower but still fine handheld. FPS mostly stable, some small dips.

Night City in your hands
Didn’t think this port was possible and CDPR proved me wrong. Cyberpunk 2077 runs great on the Switch 2 — solid frame rate, sharp visuals in both handheld and docked, and the full Phantom Liberty expansion is included. That’s a massive amount of content for the price. The gyro aiming is surprisingly good once you dial in the sensitivity, and the Joy-Con mouse mode is a nice bonus. Night City looks incredible on the OLED screen. If you have a Switch 2, this is a must-own.

Cyberpunk 2077 for Nintendo Switch 2
Night City Finally Goes Handheld – And It Works Surprisingly Well As someone who’s played Cyberpunk 2077 on both PC and console, I was skeptical when CD Projekt Red announced the Nintendo Switch 2 port. The original game is infamously demanding, and early versions struggled even on high-end systems. But after spending over 30 hours in Night City on the Switch 2, I’m pleasantly surprised by how well this version holds up — with a few caveats. Performance: Thanks to the beefed-up hardware of the Switch 2, Cyberpunk runs remarkably smooth. In docked mode, it holds close to 60fps with dynamic resolution scaling, and in handheld mode, you’re looking at a solid 30-40fps with visuals that are still impressive for a portable system. Load times are reasonable, and I haven’t experienced any major crashes or game-breaking bugs so far. Compared to the state this game launched in back in 2020, it’s night and day. Visuals: While it’s clearly not on par with high-end PC or next-gen consoles, the graphical fidelity is strong for a handheld. Textures are slightly toned down, and some environmental detail is sacrificed, but Night City still feels alive, vibrant, and immersive. Neon lights pop, character models are well-rendered, and lighting effects have been smartly optimized. CDPR did a great job preserving the core visual identity of the game. Gameplay: This is the full-fat version of Cyberpunk — the massive open world, the character progression system, vehicle mechanics, branching storylines, and combat — it’s all here. The Switch 2 version includes the Phantom Liberty expansion and the Update 2.0 overhaul, so you’re getting the most refined version of the game. Combat feels fluid with motion aiming support, and touchscreen integration in menus is a nice touch in handheld mode. Drawbacks: The biggest limitation is UI scaling and small text in handheld mode. Reading menus, item descriptions, or subtitles can be a bit of a squint-fest unless you tweak the settings. Battery life is also a concern — this game will drain your Switch 2 faster than most AAA titles. I also noticed occasional frame drops in dense areas like Watson and during rain-heavy sequences. Verdict: This isn’t a “miracle port,” but it’s definitely one of the best open-world experiences you can get on the Switch 2. CD Projekt Red took their time, and it shows. Cyberpunk 2077 has finally become the game it was meant to be — and now, you can take it on the go. If you missed out on it before or want to dive back in with portability in mind, this is a strong recommendation. Final Rating: 4/5 A technically impressive and content-rich port that makes the most of the Switch 2’s capabilities. Some minor compromises, but a must-play for fans of deep sci-fi RPGs on the go.

One of the best launch titles that show the potential for the NS2!
While yes, the game is close to five years old, it is still a fun, intense, and engaging FPS-RPG, and I am glad to see Nintendo fans being able to experience this game for the first time. For those who love rpg's and fps's that combine the best of both worlds, you should have a blast. You have choices in how the game begins and ends as well as choices in how you tackle both the gigs and hostile psychopaths you'll face. Hell, you can even become a psychopathic Edgerunner yourself! I also feel it's definitely worth the price to have the ability to play the game portability for those who already have, or plan to have, the Switch 2. The lovely cherry on top is the ability to use CDPR's cross save system. You can transfer a Ps4/Xbox One[x] save file to the NS2! Just make sure the game is updated to the latest version[2.3 I believe?] on the prior consoles AND create a new manual save while logged into/online with your CDPR account. That exact, same, CDPR account must be logged into on both consoles. You can log into CDPR with a specific CDPR account, or an account attached to the Sony Ps4/MS Xbox. The same also applies to a PC. And saves can cross back and forth however many times you want. A And certain mods/pc cheats can also transfer...as long as whatever is in that save *is possible* to acquire on the NS2/console games! Go ahead and send that 999 million eddies and all the unlocked weapons/clothing you somehow acquired on the PC to your NS2! And finally, the new control features on the NS2 are great additions as well: mouse (joycon) control, gyro, and touchscreen (in portable mode of course). Whether you are jumping into Night City for the first time or returning, you are in for a quite the ride! :-)

As expected
It arrived without damage, and run's well on switch 2. If you want a physical copy in Japan that includes all content (no censorship), then this is a good option.

GG. CDPR have done it.
Besides MK:World I don't know what else to play. Already own this on Desktop but with cross-progression, playing in Night City on the go is all too easy now and absolutely is awesome. Game runs great when in performance mode. I wouldn't bother with graphics personally. FPS > Graphics. The JoyCon controls for gyro aiming, speed hopping from left to right and for reloading and health packs is kinda cool. Fun to see some kind of interaction but I opted for a controller that fitted my hand better in the end. Great game. A+++. Easily one of the most underrated games ever made probably with the amount of review bombing it got.
