More than I expected!!!!
I have always been a big fan of Skull Candy, and a loyal user of Bose products. When I saw these I just had to try them. They are impressive! The bass boost mode gives you the heavy bass you expect from Skull Candy, and the clarity and precision of Bose! The cost is a big plus! Some people complain about the case being bulky, I do not agree. The case locks my ears buds away securely. The Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra case is smaller, and it opens too easily, the lid could break or a bud fall out. I like that the Skull Candy case locks securely. I really enjoy these. They are a little bigger than the Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra buds, yet, they are comfortable, and look great. Definitely, without a doubt, worth the money, and the collaboration between the two companies, is a plus for any fan of these products. Well done Skull Candy, Bose thank you, hats off!!!

Skullcandy is the expectation to my ears and what they did
Let me tell you my experiment with these earbuds. I ordered the earbuds. Got them in the mail the next couple of days. I read all the directions on how to get it started. And I noticed that my right earbud was not wanting to charge correctly. The left earbud would charge to 100%.. right earbud only wanted to charge anywhere from 94% to 98% and not 100%.. I charged the complete case with the earbuds in it. Still the right earbud was at 94% and the left earbud was 100%. I decided to wear them for a couple of hours. Well I noticed within 30 minutes my right earbud went from 94 to 60 % when my left ear bud was 92%. I quite didn't understand what was going on to make the right earbud do what it did. So I got in contact with Skullcandy and they told me that I needed to reset and uninstall the app. So I did everything that they said to do. And still nothing happened. So I returned them. And got to replacement. And let me tell you I've had these for a couple of days and they work perfectly fine. They charge correctly. The earbuds are fine The bass in the sound is great. I've had other earbuds in the past that were noise canceling. But none of them were the supreme notch on these earbuds. I've never Bose earbuds before. But knowing that Bose is the top of the line for their radios that they had back in the days and for their headphones. I would say these are the great . Like when I put these in my ears I can hear what they do to my ears as a noise canceling sucks in the outside and closes it. Some earbuds will say that they have noise canceling but they could be 30% noise canceling 50%. But with these I believe that these are 100% noise canceling to my ears. They are great around the house, being outdoors, and going on vacation. The one thing that I wish that they had done was where I could say hey Alexa and have Alexa interact with me through the earbuds. Now for the color I got back. I wish they had a dark blue or a dark gray. I wish they had a flame one that was fire on the black one with the flame symbols on it. Something about flames and black stand out that I like. For the value of the money on these earbuds. Skullcandy has other earbuds that you can get that are lower in price than what these are. I would have to say for the value of the money of these I would say they do what they do for the price.

Good for the price but not the best.
I like the quality of sound. By far the best that I’ve tried. They don’t make my ears itchy either. The sound is great and the app allows for custom tuning. ANC is pretty great because I can use it with only one bud connected. However it says 9hrs of run time but that’s not accurate. I went from 100% on one bud to 27% in 2 hours on stay aware. Not very happy with the battery life. I work 12 hours and I was expecting to only have to change earbuds once a day instead of 6. That’s the main reason for 3 stars instead of 5. I also don’t like that the app doesn’t tell me what percent the case is at. You have to go off the color of the light on the charging port. The quality of the case seems good and not magnetic like AirPods which means no metal attaching itself to the case. Just more to be desired but I am coming from AirPod pros. These are a million times more comfortable but a fraction of the price and sound quality and phone quality seems great so far. Edit to add: I just put the right earbud back in the case to charge since it alerted it was at 28%. I saw it didn’t light up to charge and when I reconnected it the bud said it was at 100% again. I don’t think it’s recharging at all and that’s why the bud is dying faster. I’ve included screenshots for proof.

Alright sound, decent case, but could be improved
Skullcandy is one of those brands that I hate and love at the exact same time. When I first got my Indy ANCs, my first ever pair of Skullcandys, they were incredible. Bass that was very rumbly, bass that was so strong, and yet vocals and instruments remained clear. On top of that, they had personal sound which is a nice touch. The Method 360 ANCs is different - as Bose did the sound signature, which frankly, was somewhat disappointing, but we are buying a Bose earbud (with the Skullcandy logo) slapped on so I decided to try it. At the price of $99, Skullcandy is competing with many brands, like Soundcore, Soundpeats, Samsung, Nothing, JBL, and many more. Battery life: Really good, lasts long, the case adds many hours of play time, and so far I haven't experienced any issues, therefore great battery life! Samsung can take notes. Case: The case design is indeed unique and interesting. The case has a little hook which I found useful, hooking it to your pants or bag is neat. However, it isn't for everyone and the case isn't pocket friendly. I believe this design is fine, and for Skullcandy, increases brand recognition. Ear tips: Great, secure, and adopted from Bose, great for workouts. I cannot complain, when walking, running, and doing other physical activities, I've got to say that these earbuds are one of the best. Sound isolation is good and blocks outside noise well for my case. Bluetooth: Stable connection, however it is just normal bluetooth with nothing added besides HD audio. No LDAC, Snapdragon sound, or AptX. They could add it, but I highly doubt Skullcandy would add such standards in other earbuds. Sound quality: This is more different than I would expect from other Skullcandy earbuds. They are much more maturely tuned (because Bose), but I was expecting more. Vocals weren't as "focused" or clear, instruments would overpower vocals in some songs, bass was there, but not "thumpy" as the Indy ANC which I loved. No personal sound option, no movie EQ, but you do have the ability to custom eq the earbuds which is good. I would say the custom eq is really good, and you can unlock some serious clarity, which I was really surprised by. Touch controls: Easy to use, Spotify tap is my favorite feature and the integration has been smooth. Skull-IQ: The app that this uses, and the memo that Skullcandy has probably forgotten. Back then, Skullcandy introduced Skull-IQ as their voice command software, and even won an award for it. I was assuming that the "Hey Skullcandy" feature would be present, but instead they just used the Skull-IQ app without that voice command software. You can use Hey Google, Bixby, Siri, but again was disappointed as they never chose to add "Hey Skullcandy". Suggestions and overall thoughts: I think many people would love these earbuds. For me, I love them for workouts, but for everyday earbuds, probably not. For the next software update, maybe the "music" eq could be tuned a bit better, slightly clearer vocals, as it sounds muddy sometimes, or even add the movie eq again.

Major quality control issues
The sound quality on these earphones is amazing. This is the first time ive ever used any earphones with active noice cancelation and I can't go back anymore. Coming from 3 year old skullcandy rails before, this is definitely a big step up. Charging is with a usb-c connection so I just use the cable I have for charging my phone. Makes it really convenient and easy. The battery lasts about 5 days with 3 hours a day of usage, probably can get 6 days but I charge them after 5 days just in case. Now, all that being said, there are some issues unfortunately. Issues I believe stem from quality control, or lack thereof. First of all, the first set I got ended up constantly dropping audio. The audio would completely cut out and go silent while the song continued on so it sounded like random sound cutting out. The anc still remained on but the audio would just cut out constantly. So I had to ask for a replacement. Now, the 2nd pair worked better but every now and then the audio would still cut out, to the point of it being almost twice a day and I use these things 5 days a week for about 3 hours a day. Thats gonna be -1 star. Another issue is that the left earbud would not turn on by itself when pulled out of the case like the right earbud would. Id always have to turn it on manually by holding the touch sensor on the left bud for a few seconds. Not a big issue if it was only once but it is every single time I want to use them. Thats twice a day, 5 days a week at least. The rails never had this issue. So thats -1 star again. Lastly, after only 6 months of use the left earbud's casing split apart when I pulled it out of my ear. That's something id expect to happen after years of use, not 6 months. So I had to RMA them through the 1 year manufacturer's warranty. Thats yet another -1 star The newest ones, my 3rd pair of these earphones now, seem to be working much better. Rarely drops the audio, both earbuds turn on when pulled out of the case as well. Here's hoping they last more than 6 months.. if not, after having used skullcandy for the past 15+ years and recommending them to all my friends and family, I might finally have to switch to a new brand. Cause at this price point, thats far too many issues sadly. All in all, audio quality is amazing on these things, but build quality definitely leaves something to be desired.

Great value! Wonderful smooth sound. I would buy these again.
Love these! The sound quality is rich and smooth. I was initially hesitant to buy Skullcandy but these are fantastic! They give Bose great sound technology without the Bose price tag. My use is primarily for listening to music and watching movies. Pairing was easy and the fit is so comfortable. Although the charging case is larger than most other types I like that the size makes it easy to find in a duffle/gym bag and the case doesn't pop open if dropped. I haven't actually measured the battery life but it does seem like the earbuds and case drain a little faster than some other earbuds that I've had but they still last for many hours. I bought them refurbished so this could be part of the battery issue. The setup for the earbud controls was easy to do with the app. The earbud tap controls work really well without having to try to pinpoint an exact location to tap. All of my callers said that the sound was very clear and they didn't realize that I was talking through the earbuds. No weird sounds, echos, etc. They have a snug fit so they don't easily pop out of the ears when exercising. Great value for the money and I would buy them again.

360 method ANC
I bought these earbuds not even a week ago. Just got them today and I can already confidently say these are one of the best pairs of earbuds I have personally owned. Not only is the sound quality amazing, I also really like the custom fitted rubber pieces that help it fit in your ear. I also really like how the ANC works. Hands down the greatest buds I've had

These don't hold up...
Wish I could do a better review for these. I love Skullcandy and have been a customer for move than 12 years. I have just lost a set of over the ear cans that I used for mowing the lawn for over 10 years. I love the brand and love the sound. So, Still love you guys, but this product is a deal breaker. Do Not Recommend. The earbuds started out strong and offered the best phone call quality I've ever seen, customers couldn't hear my kids or dogs and I was floored. I use them every day and have enjoyed them since April of 2025. The sound profiles ANC, Stay-Aware, and Off are all great. Off is as you would expect an earbud, ANC was quite good, though not perfect, the stay-aware is perfect. Much better than others, no delay, no digital oddities, just wonderful! These earbuds are unstoppable! About October the shine started to come off as I was terribly tired of repositioning the surrounding ear silicone every time I plugged them back in to ensure that they would charge. The battery case started to need charging almost daily. Finally, the right earbud came apart when I removed it from my ear. Right at the seam, with some odd glue stuff behind the seam. Looks like they used some craft glue to put these together. When I went to put them back together I didn't see a quick and easy way to glue them myself, so I reached out to Skullcandy. The issue is a known and common issue, I've read it all over about these specific earbuds. The solution, spend about $30 and mail them in to be repaired or evaluated for repair. I use these all day every day and don't just have time to mail them back at about 1/5 the cost of the ear buds to begin with. So I kept going. Very gently using the earbud on the right, it seems to work until I can locate a reliable second pair. I was looking at the Method 540 ANC so I could have two pair ready to go, but they aren't for sale anywhere except the manufacturers site at the moment. Two days ago Firmware Update 1.3.6 was recommended and I updated, not thinking anything of it. Now they're almost useless. None of the buttons work, none of the call control features work. I can control the buds directly with sound profiles (ANC, Stay-Aware, and Off). These are essentially unusable compared to the other day when they were just broken due to a known manufacturing defect, that I could work around... This is just the last straw for me. I feel like these may be version 1.0 and maybe there's fixes coming, I just didn't expect them to have the longevity of a $30 pair of bluetooth headphones. These aren't cheap and if they worked would be worth every penny, but renting great results for just about a half a year it's not worth the $130 I started off with.

Best under 100 bucks for earbuds
Back at It I was trying these buds in comparison to the Sony WF1000XM6 and I was surprised by many of their aspects. I will thoroughly describe those. Case, portability and design: Well, if you've seen the pictures, the case is not really the definition of portable. It is supposed to be attached to a backpack or a purse, so it is made with a latch on top. It is not very pocketable, but might still slide in your back pockets, if you don't mind the bulging. They will not fit into a jeans money pocket. The design of the buds themselves is interesting. They mimic the large stem bud stile of Bose QC earbuds and have basically the same shape and size. They have fins for stability and display the Skull logo on the back. They definitely look very good, but maybe they are more for the youth. The case slides upwards with the buds inserted upside-down, so it might be difficult the first times to know which way is which. Still very different and anticomformistic. 8/10 Comfort: since they mimic the Bose's style of earbuds those are very comfortable. It still, always depends on ear shape, but the fins help stabilize the fit and the silicon eartips do not press much on the sides of the ear canal. 9/10 Connectivity: they boast multipoint and 5.3, SBC and AAC codec. The lack of any Hi-Res codec is a shame considering their price and the fact that Soundcore puts LDAC basically everywhere. Sound tho, is very much the same anyway and audiophiles will not like these. It's not really a problem. Connection is stable. 8/10 App: the new Skullcandy app allows you to fully customize controls, EQ them (5 bands), activate Low Latency mode, see battery life etc. The app is minimalistic and has no smart features, but does it's job and is not buggy. Although you cannot directly customize call controls. 7.5/10 Call quality: in extremely loud environments, these might struggle with noise rejection and reject your own voice. Tho, unless you are in a concert, they have one of the best call quality in this range, comparable to Liberty 4 pro. 9/10 Noise cancelling and transparency: the fins help them obtain a better seal and the eartips contribute to isolation. The ANC unit can easily reduce loudness by a total of 82-83% in low frequencies (around 28dB less). You might still hear voices and high impact acute sounds, but it's to be expected at this price. Transparency was improved by an update and it works really well. They do a good job in amplifying voices and I would rate them fairly well while driving. The transparency is natural and never really bloated. Your voice, tho, sounds bloated. (9/10) Sound quality: hear me out, these are the best sounding earbuds imo, even better than XM6. Now I know this might seem dumb. The Method 360 ANC have a very bass forward profile and high-mids treble focused response, so they might sound closed with the music preset. I find these to have one of the most open soundstages on the market, remarkably better than Sony WF1000XM6. They immerse you in sound and can sound very accurate with EQ. I suggest an EQ like -4 , -3, +2, -1, +3 and you will get a very mid forward sound, with good instrument separation and an incredibly open soundstage, without compromising bass response, just reducing the bloat. The sound is tuned by Bose, and it shows in the highs. 9.5/10. I suggest buying these as a daily driver as they have very similar performance as the Bose QC ultra 2gen earbuds, for 1/3 of the price. Overall 8.4/10 Very good for Skullcandy, not so much for premium competitors. Cya

Excellent value IEMs
Value for money, a great purchase. Sound is a bit bass forward, but the Skullcandy app offers an equalizer to tune it down if you like. Bose ANC technology is great - best ANC I have had on a set of headphones. Plus the ear shape and fin that sits in your ear provides excellent noise blockage. Although they are nowhere near as flat or accurate as my AKG K371, the bass is still tuneful, and sound dynamics are surprisingly good, even with ANC on. Importantly, the snug fit is perfect for exercising. Ran 5 km with these in the other day, and they stayed solidly put. Due to the shape of my ears, it is uncommon I find a set that pits this good. At $100 these earbuds are a no brainer. Only change I'd make is I would have ordered a different colour - the brown do look a little "hearing aid".
