⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Effective Carpet Cleaner with Great Value for the Size I’ve been really impressed with this basic carpet cleaner. It does a great job lifting everyday stains and refreshing high-traffic areas without needing a lot of effort. I used it on a few older spots and it noticeably improved the appearance of the carpet after just one treatment. The formula seems to work well with both fresh spills and set-in marks, especially when used with a carpet cleaning machine. It rinses out cleanly and doesn’t leave any sticky residue behind, which I appreciate. What really stands out is the value. The bottle is a large size for the price, and a little goes a long way when diluted properly. It makes it very cost-effective compared to some of the more expensive name-brand options. The scent is light and not overpowering, which is a plus if you don’t want a strong chemical smell lingering after cleaning. I finally had time to use this carpet shampooer, it is amazing! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. My one cat that is 16 yrs old, eats his fur and several days later, it comes back up with food and the hair. I had several spots that were several weeks old and after passing over them about 3 times they came right up. Scent is wonderful. It does foam up a little too much, but that is a small issue compared how well it brings up 2-3 week stains. This review is no BS too, it really works that great. I highly recommend this product and will continue to buy it until I can afford to have my off white Berber carpet replaced.

I’ve tried a few different carpet cleaning solutions, and this is by far my favorite! This is a very good carpet cleaner solution. I spot treated a couple of spots, and every stain came out. Has a pleasant burn not overbearing scent with no sticky residue I will order again. This was the second time I tried it after a friend gave me some to try. I ordered it immediately.

This stuff is great! I’ve been using a name brand carpet cleaner and when I ran out, I decided to try this one. Not only does it smell great, it cleans amazingly! Very easy to use in my Bissell carpet cleaner. The foaming was so satisfying to watch because you know it’s really working. I’m going to attach pics of the carpet after (forgot to take before photo :/) and what the dirty water looked like after cleaning. (No judging 🫣) I clean my carpets pretty regularly and the amount of dirt, and whatever else, that came up, shows me just how much better this works than the name brand carpet cleaner I was using. Once I saw what the used water looked like, I cleaned it again. lol I was shocked. Highly recommend this product ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I used this with a handheld carpet cleaner (Bissell little green multiclean) even though it is technically meant for upright machines. It did foam more, but it was not really a huge problem for me to empty the machine a bit more frequently. I was cleaning a rug and during the task ran out of the Bissell detergent that I had. I then switched to this Amazon basics one that I had purchased earlier and oh boy: when I started cleaning with this detergent, the difference was incredible! I ended up having to redo all the areas I had already cleaned with the Bissell detergent because they looked dirty next to the areas cleaned with the Amazon cleaner. The scent is pleasantly fresh and the price is unbeatable. Better performance for much less money.

I'll be honest, I was really excited to try this Amazon Basics carpet cleaner because I've heard great things about the brand. And it does work well - I used it on a tough wine stain on my couch and it came out almost completely. The fresh scent is also a nice touch, it's not overpowering like some other cleaners I've used. However, I'm really disappointed with the bottle design. The cap is super loose and I swear it's been leaking all over my storage room. But the real kicker is that my particular bottle has a weird sediment at the bottom that doesn't mix with the rest of the cleaner, no matter how much I shake it. I've used other cleaning products from Amazon Basics before and never had this issue, so I'm guessing it's just a defect with this one bottle. Still, it's frustrating because I don't know if it's going to affect the cleaner's performance. Despite these issues, I'm still giving this product 3 stars because it does get the job done. I'll just have to be more careful with the bottle and hope the sediment doesn't affect its effectiveness. Maybe I'll just transfer it to a different bottle or something. For the price, it's a decent product, but I expect better quality control from Amazon Basics.
