K&N next gen Installed on a 2022 Ram w/ 5.7 HEMI It installs in minutes, takes minimal mechanical effort. It made the sound so much better, deep growl when you push the loud pedal down. I can really feel the extra power at about 45-55 mph when you accelerate. Don’t know about fuel efficiency, it’s a 5.7HEMI so, yeah I don’t care about fuel efficiency.

Just as described, easy installation also. I had an issue with one of the clamps not working but they were very good of handling the issue and got it resolved 👍🏻. I would recommend buying this item.

The Next Gen is awesome! Install truly is a breeze. Just take your time, nothing fancy. This air box completely and totally changed the sound of my hemi. It gave it a gutter roll growl from the front end. And the torque and horsepower gain is very noticeable.

After reading other reviews on this product I was in two minds about purchasing this but I’ve bought several K&N filters for motorcycles in the past and never had a problem so I went ahead. Turns out I should have paid more attention to the other reviews. I ordered for a 2024 Ram 1500 5.7. I had the same problem as others with fitment of the CCV and temp sensor. Location of CCV was too close to temp sensor and CCV hose kinking because to close. Temp sensor outlet required some butchering of the stock inlet to use the sensor mount. And more still the instructions that came with the kit were for a KIA! What’s happened to K&N quality control? Very disappointing. I really did not expect this from K&N. I did not attempt to contact K&N to resolve these issues so I have no idea about how helpful or not they would be. I already had the stock air box and everything removed before it was delivered so I persisted with it, if I hadn’t had already removed I would have shipped this back to K&N. For anyone wishing to purchase this, first, do not remove your stock gear until it arrives in case you cannot do the mods to make this work, secondly, be prepared for some extra modifications.

Definitely improved power and mpg. I normally get around 20 to 21 mpg on a road trip and have noticed 25 mpg with the new intake. Would purchase again and recommend! I do have it paired with Borla Pro XS muffler. The overall performance is noticeable.

Let's the big ol v8 breath better. sounds and feels alot better and responsive Definitely can feel the power.the mpgs have stayed the same so far intown driving ..took me about 40min to put on,really takes longer to take the stock intake apart plus looks great under the hood k&n definitely a must

1. The fitting that came with it for the CCV did not fit in the housing. I had to file it down to make it fit. 2. The sensor sits in the fitting very loosely. Most likely will come loose eventually and throw codes. 3. Both connections are in an awkward spit / to close together. I had to trim the hose to make it fit- otherwise, because of the angle- it would kink. 4. The boot is about 1 inch to small. Other than all that, it was ok.
