Dark, twisty and emotional, full of suspense, This book hooked me in right from the beginning to the end, I had my suspicions on who the killer might be, kept changing my choices till it was over. Could really feel the time the jet had left as the pages grew thinner and thinner in my hands, making it more addictive and emotional, a strong and emotional ending, leaving you in shock and sadness. I got the sprayed edges edition, it looks beautiful as well as the dust jacket. Really a must read, definitely the best book I’ve read, Written so well. A 5 star read.

Well written, good story, ok characters. Worth a read, not sure why it won the goodreads award for 2025 I think in the thriller category or something but I read better thrillers this year so I don’t agree with that.

Brilliant read! Brought it for my 12 year old daughter, who is a big reader. She loved it 😄 plenty of twists and turns that kept her engrossed. Couldn't put it down!

This is the first book I have read by the author. I found myself intrigued by the storyline but never got to liking the main character - Jet. She was childish and selfish and just an overall unlikeable character. The other characters felt somewhat undeveloped and weak. The story itself was good if rather unbelievable. A decent enough read for the price I paid.

📖Book Review📖 Not Quite Dead Yet I legitimately cried reading this book, it just brought up a lot of memories for me and stuff that could have gone wrong with my own brain trauma The book kept me guessing until the end and was one that I genuinely couldn’t put down but I just needed to know more. I devoured it. I did have my suspicions for who did it but they changed all through out the book because the plot twists were insane 🤯 but towards the very end I had a little inkling that it was the person who did it but you would never think it was them. The ending had me SOBBING The book was just written so well and flowed, I was addicted from the start as I am with all of Holly’s books. Please read this if you haven’t already I really recommend it. Definitely another auto buy author for me. The only “bad” thing I would say is at some parts it felt jumpy in places. But other than that I loved it.

Very good story line and an enjoyable read.

Not sure it’s a plausible story but I enjoyed the read.Would have preferred the text to remain throughout the book instead of reverting to the scribbled letters towards the end.

Without talking about the story itself, the book is in great condition. The book is bigger compared to all of the other Holly Jackson books, but that might be because I bought the hardcover version.

I read this book, thinking highly of it already because I adore Holly Jackson’s writing so much. But this overdid it for me. I loved the pacing, the characters, and the story. The ending wrecked me! Overall, it was an extremely enjoyable and satisfying read that I will recommend to future readers!

Wow, what a phenomenal story! This is the first book I've read by this author and although it isn't my usual genre I plan to look into other books she has written! I read the book on Kindle and listened to it via audible for a book challenge for one of my reading groups. I have to say, I am so glad that this book was chosen and that I did read it. Wow! The writing is phenomenal. The suspense in the storyline is perfect, the characters are so well developed, I really wasn't sure who did what until maybe the last hour of the book and I was beginning to piece parts together. However, I think at that point the author was writing in a way that most people would be closer to a correct guess. This book definitely doesn't have your typical happy ending, I felt horrible for Jet and Billy, However, I don't think there was any other way that the author could have ended the story and been true to the characters and the underlying themes that she wrote. Overall, phenomenal book, phenomenal story! I also think the voice actor for the audible did a decent job. I'm excited to find more books by this author.
