Gives the expected results if used well

I have tried tons of brow products—everything from high end to drug store. This is by far the best! Whether I want a fluffy, feathered, or laminated brow, this brow soap is my HG (holy grail)!My only complaints (and the reasons for deducting1 star) are about the labeling and the spoolies that come with the product.The tin is labeled "Brow Cream," even though it is a brow soap. (It requires that you wet the spoolie to activate the product). This could be confusing for those who don't know the diffefence between gels, creams, soaps, etc.Additionally, the spoolies aren't the best. In defense of the company, they do provide 2-small spoolies. However, they are flimsy and don't work well. I definitely prefer my own spoolie. The provided spoolies aren't a deal breaker, but I thought it was worth mentioning.Bottom line: excellent brow soap, excellent price, and plenty of product since a little goes a long way (even for unruly brows).

I'm actually surprised by how great this product works. It was super affordable, it's going to last forever, and I don't notice my brow hairs getting dry. I haven't had any issues with white residue, but my hair is dark blonde and I don't wear makeup. I'm not sure what it would do if you layered it over other brow products. There is a bit of a learning curve with how wet to make the spoolie and how much product to pick up, but after a week or so I got it figured out. The only issue I have is that I have to be careful when I wash my face at the end of the day. I have to saturate my brows with water to let the product dissolve and soften before I start washing my face. If I rub my brows when the product is dry I lose brow hairs.

In the instructions they refer to this clear solid product as soap and its not much more than that. You wet the brush, put some "soap" on it and apply. Yes it brushes and holds the hairs of your brows but it feels crunchy after and doesn't darken or add any thickness to the brow line. While it can be applied over darkening product, it mostly blurs that product. Unless you already have thick brows in the shape you want them, this product isn't going to give you the brows you want.

I was hesitant at first at how well this would do with thick bushy brows, but was pleasantly surprised. The key I find is getting the spoolie wet, applying the soap and then rubbing back and forth in all directions on your brows. Let that dry up for 1-2 minutes and then go back in to set them. You may need to do this a few times if your brows are very wet. I then go with a brow pencil for definition and a tinted brow mascara to make them really pop.
