中型犬ですが、爪が伸びやすく 自分で切れないかと思い購入しました 使いやすく、よく切れます。

普段爪切りを嫌がる我が家の犬様ですが、老年により散歩も減り、爪が伸びて・・ 回転やすりが、切る衝撃も無くて、犬が嫌がらないですよーってレビューがあり、買ってみましたが、 削る振動を嫌がられるのと、削る時間がそれなりにかかるため使用を断念。 ギロチン型は持っていなかったので悩んだんですが、ギロチン型は使用にコツがありそうで、いくらでもストレスがないようにしたかったので、 ペンチ型のこちらを試しに購入しました。 切れ味が悪かったというレビューもありますが、届いたものは使用に問題はなく、犬様も爪を切られながらキョトンとしていました。 結構伸びていたので、歩きづらかったはずですが、トリム後は幾分すっきりした感じでした。 頻繁に使用するものではないので、あと何回使えるか、お年が・・・

今まで使用していた爪切りより握りやすく大型犬の爪がよく切れます。 ネットの画面ではわからなかったのですが、深爪防止のストッパーが付いているのがよいです。 良いものを購入したと思います。

大型犬ばかりの多頭飼いです。大型犬の大きくてかたい爪を切る爪切りを探していてたどり着きました。力を入れなくてもスパッと気持ちよく切れます。ただし超大型犬の爪はめいっぱい開いても1本丸ごとは爪切りの刃と刃の間にはおさまりません。もう少し大きいといいのになぁとじょっと残念で☆マイナスです。

獣医師です。 獣医用の通販で購入した爪切りが非常に質が悪かったので、試しに購入してみましたが、良好です。 以前しようしていたものはつめが潰れるように切れていたのに対し、こちらの商品はスパッと切れます。 潰れるように切れると動物も痛がるので、爪切りを嫌がるようになってしまいますが、こちらでは大丈夫なようです。 ご家庭での使用にも必要十分かと思います。飼い主様にはこういうの使って欲しいと思いました。

ラブラドールの硬い爪でしたが、サクッと切れ、犬も嫌がりませんでした。

今まで使用していた物が切れ味悪くなってきたので購入しました。 グリップ部分はとても握りやすくていいのですが、肝心な刃の切れ味が全くダメでした。バチンッ！！という押し切りのような大きな音がするので、犬が嫌がり吠えまくり… よく切れるというレビューもあるので、 多分私の所に届いた商品は不良品だったのかな〜？ これなら切れ味落ちた以前の物の方がよく切れる。 同じものどこか売ってないかな〜(；ω；)

The Safari Professional Pet Nail Trimmer has been my tool of choice for my Dogs. I ordered the Small/Medium side for my Cocker Spaniel and Mixed Terrier. Both of my dogs don't like it however, usually blindfolding them by just placing a towel over their eyes while their back is laying on your stomach usually does the trick, but your mileage may vary, it worked for me so I cannot complain. the hardest part about cutting their nails is to avoid cutting in too deep as they have blood vessels that are a bit hard to find. That is where the safety stop comes in handy and it is built right into the tool itself. Its basically a shield that prevents you from butting further into the nails of your pet. You don't have to cut them too short but as the instructions say, "trim a small amount. Repeat every 7-10 days until nails are at desired length." I know "desired length" may be subjective, but don't cut it too short or else they can bleed, or leaving it out too long will have the struggling to walk. Trim it to a length where they can walk properly. That is how I gauge mine in my case scenario. The trimmers were quite sharp as it sheered the nails off with ease. Every tool that you get from this brand will only be one color which is green. There aren't any color options to choose from, but I wasn't picky in this case. It did the job and it did what it is suppose to do.

I wouldn’t normally review nail clippers, but this one is special. I have a miniature poodle who is now one. Since she was a puppy, she would show she was uncomfortable and didn’t love having her nails cut. I wondered if it was the clippers and so decided to give these ago. Honestly, it’s a whole different experience. The clippers seem sharper and so glide through the nail like butter. I can take little bits off at a time, and go slow enough so I avoid making a click sound when I cut through her nail. She no longer pulls her paw away, and has started to sleep while I do her nails. This obviously makes me think the old clippers were hurting her by perhaps putting pressure on her nail. These ones are much better in that sense. And from my own perspective, the handles feel nice and grippy. They feel sturdy to use. I like that it has a lock mechanism for safety, and do the job really well. If you’re looking for a good set of clippers for a small dog, go for these!
