I’m really impressed with the Insta360 X5⁠! The video quality is amazing and it captures everything beautifully. It’s easy to use, and the 360° footage makes my travel and everyday videos look so much more fun and professional. This is a quick review of the Insta360 X5 MM93 Championship Edition. The main thing: It feels special. The presentation, box, MM videos, the graphics on the 360, the shutdown screen - really, really nice. #2: Value for money (see below) Obviously I got this for motocycling videos and to me the contents (heavy duty clamp, crab clamp, action selfie stick, case, memory card) are precisely selected for a fast start, pun intended. It's better than the moto kit, which, unless I'm mistaken, doesn't have the crab clamp. For my first recorded ride, I mounted to the rear frame where the passenger footpegs connect using both the heavy duty and crab clamps and it was stable and confidence inspiring. Also, very fast mounting procedure. On a gorgeous day riding into and out of tree canopy - the footage was amazing, handling the light transitions well. The mount stood up to the G-forces - no issues there.

I am updating my review to reflect both the outstanding customer service I received and my evolving experience with the camera. Regarding the Invisible Cold Shoe: it is indeed designed specifically for Rode mics. While the info was technically there, I believe it wasn't prominent enough for a quick purchase. After sharing this, the Insta360 team (shoutout to Eddie) took my feedback seriously and confirmed they would update the product description to make this clearer for the community. Despite the initial confusion, the support team reached out with a genuine solution. They even sent a complimentary gift to me in Holland, managing the international logistics perfectly since I wasn't in the US at the time. This level of dedication to customer satisfaction is world-class. Performance & Learning Curve: I’ll be honest—the learning curve for both the hardware and the app is real. It takes some time to get used to the workflow. However, now that I’ve spent more time with it, the results are incredible. I’m capturing amazing shots that simply wouldn't be possible with other gear. Yes, it requires some patience to master, and you should double-check specific accessory compatibility, but the output quality and the support team behind the product make it 100% worth it. Huge thanks to Eddie and the entire team for turning a frustrated buyer into a very happy creator!

The 360 function is amazing, capturing multiple sharp angles with crystal clear video. Offers a unique perspective mounted on vehicles or selfie sticks. A really neat little camera overall.

I cant believe how good the Insta360 X5 Essentials Bundle is. I thought it would just be a fun toy but it ended up replacing almost every other camera I own. The stabilization is crazy good. I walked, ran, even held it out the car window and the video still came out looking smooth like I was floating. The 360 footage looks sharp and the colors are way better than I expected. The bundle has everything you need so I was filming in minutes. The app is pretty easy to use and the AI edits are actually helpful. Battery life has been fine for me and the camera feels solid in the hand. I like that the lenses are replaceable too because I do stupid things sometimes and this gives me peace of mind.

This is the best camera ever. I had the Theta but this one has many more features that make it so much easier to use. For example, there is is touch screen display with a ton of features. Pros: bluetooth connection is easy and finds everything including the AirMic, has an option to record 360 or 180 which is fabulous for my rental house tours, can review the video at any time, has changeable batteries so you can replace when it runs low or out, records on sd cards, has lens covers to protect the lens, came with a zippered case cover, has several options for recording in low light, and so much more. Cons: I can't quite figure out the AirMic and built-in mic and how they work together as the video volume always seems low.

Definitely a learning curve in the usage. Automatic settings works great. The package is truly well done and feels well worth the price. The camera feels well built and the video and photo quality is superb. Still to test the battery life... But used abt 10% for a 15-20min night time usage on pure video mode.

Mi único pero es que no incluyen memoria y los precios de la memoria recomendada para esta camara esta alrededor de $3,000.

Possiedo quasi tutti i modelli precedenti, ma con questa Insta360 X5 il salto è stato davvero generazionale. Non è più solo una action cam "divertente", è diventata uno strumento professionale a tutti gli effetti. I punti che mi hanno lasciato a bocca aperta: Risoluzione 8K / 60fps: Finalmente i video in 8K sono fluidissimi. Questo è fondamentale perché, quando si va a fare il "reframe" (ovvero scegliere l'inquadratura in post-produzione), il video finale in 1080p o 4K è nitidissimo, senza quell'effetto sgranato dei modelli vecchi. Sensori da 1/1.2" aggiornati: La resa con poca luce è migliorata drasticamente. Ho fatto delle riprese al tramonto e il rumore digitale è quasi inesistente. Anche la gamma dinamica è eccellente, gestisce i riflessi del sole sulla neve senza bruciare i bianchi. AI Editing 2.0: L'app è diventata incredibile. Ora basta dire "trova i momenti migliori" e l'intelligenza artificiale taglia un reel già pronto per i social con transizioni perfette. Mi ha fatto risparmiare ore di montaggio. Resistenza e Vetro: Il nuovo rivestimento protettivo delle lenti sembra molto più robusto. Non ho ancora usato i proteggi-lenti esterni e, nonostante qualche urto leggero, non c'è un graffio. Cosa c'è da sapere (i "contro"): File giganti: Registrare in 8K a 60fps richiede schede microSD velocissime (V30 o superiore) e tanto spazio sul telefono o sul PC. Calore: Durante sessioni prolungate in 8K sotto il sole tende a scaldare, ma il nuovo design del corpo macchina dissipa il calore meglio della X4. Verdetto: Se sei un creator o un appassionato di sport, la X5 è un investimento che vale ogni centesimo.
