Sugar - Dark Muscovado (Mauritius) 1# : desertcart.in: Grocery & Gourmet Foods Review: I wish it was not so expensive it makes the best syrup for your coffee! Review: This is the best tasting sugar I have had the pleasure of experiencing. It's a very healthy choice too, being mineral rich. People say it has a molasses taste. Yes, but not like a black strap. It is the subtle taste of fresh unrefined natural molasses. Since heating your 'local honey' destroys its unique, subtle micro-nutrients this sugar is a good replacement, if you are inclined to use honey in cooking recipes or for heated beverages. Be cautious. We must be careful to not overindulge in sugar consumption so, self-control is wise.

This is my favorite sugar for my iced coffees! It’s like granulated molasses with a hint more sweetness. It dissolves very quickly in my cold coffee with cream with just a little stirring. I do recommend getting one of those little terracotta brown sugar keepers so it will stay moist and granulated in the fridge.

Christmas pudding sugar. Worth the price!

The taste of this adds so much to your baked goods. You can smell the molasses. Will buy more for my pecan pies for the holidays, should mix nicely with bourbon.
