How do you think these worms would do in an outdoor bin in southwest Florida? I keep a very large bin , I was wondering about the high temperatures?

As long as your bin is in the shade you should be fine. I keep a large outdoor bin here in Florida for composting my kitchen scraps. The only issue I have with heat is when I occasionally overfeed and the bin heats up due to anaerobic decomposition.

How do you care for your worms in the winter months. I am in Texas and they can get down to the 40s in the winter time

Most people will raise them in a controlled environment indoors. If you have a shed that doesn't have heat you can use a heating pad to keep the bin warm. There's equipment you can buy for keeping eggs and chicks warm that should be able to be used for your worm habitat.

what are these worms fed from start to finish?

It's a variety of different grains. An easy recipe is organic corn meal, ground oatmeal, and egg shells. Pretty easy for a small operation.
