Super good. It’s a transparent gel. Really blurs everything, even fine lines. Doesn’t pill. Softens the skin too. I did half of my forehead, for reference.

This stuff makes the best primer! It's expensive for the small amount but it just works so much better than anything else I've tried. I have very sensitive acne prone skin that gets super oily but also somehow dry at the same time 😩 This compact does not control my oil, I still have to blot continuosly throughout the day, but the finish that it gives my powder foundation is really nice. It stops it from looking cakey and my makeup stays in place all day. I usually use it as a primer (applied with a very clean slightly firm foundation brush) and then dab a bit on top as a final step. The only issue I've run into is sometimes the surface of it can start to ball up a bit, but using a brush as opposed to a sponge helps with that, and I also spritz the brush with alcohol every morning and clean it on a cotton pad or a bit of kitchen roll before using it. It has no scent which is a big plus in my opinion, and it causes no irritation or breakouts.

I think this is great if you have oily skin or like me with older skin your make up finished result is too dewy, then this can tone it down. You need to be careful this stuff is powerful and will literally matify your face so less is more. Tiny dabs with a flat sponge worked for me. You don't get an applicator which was a bit disappointing as sponges surely cost pennies in the manufacturing world. It's not something I will use loads. Maybe on holiday or overdoing the dewy affect. But for the price its certainly worth having in your make up bag.

Did not do anything for me!! Hard to apply, left a weird product build up on my face and extremely hard to apply/blend. Honestly don't see what the hype is

This is okay for skin without any makeup on it, and mattifies it. BUT the putty is really thick and can wipe your foundation off with it and clog into your pores. Found it works better on the body and arms so could be useful for cosplay if you want a matt skin finish.

Absolutely love this all you do is Deb a powderpuff onto the compact and debit across your nose and cheeks and chin and your pores just disappear

Ok first let's get this out of the way - this stuff is absolutely weird LOL. It's all clear and unassuming sitting there in its little compact looking like absolutely nothing at all. But then, you grab a little velvet puff and press it into the gel and press (not swipe!) it onto your skin and the shine is knocked right on down. Method: After picking up some product on your puff, just press once on your skin and move on - kind of like how you'd use a beauty blender with foundation, tap and move... I found that over tapping in one spot after the product is initially deposited can lift it back up some (again just like a beauty blender does), so just keep your puff moving as you tap it in everywhere you want to reduce shine. I did find that swiping the gel powder on the skin with the puff did not really work well to deposit it the way pressing it did. I also tried with a dense-ish kabuki face brush, but the product is kind of stiff in the compact, and while I was able to get it to work, using the puff was a lot quicker and more effective for me personally and made the biggest difference. The finish: This stuff leaves just a wee bit of radiance/luminance while taking out the shine, so your skin just looks like clean, clear, and fresh skin, not dry or dulled down at all! This stuff is magic - I don't know how they did it - it feels so very soft and silky honestly. Plus, it has zero color - ZERO! So it won't interfere or tint the makeup you've already set down, so that's another plus. Final thoughts: If you're going for 100% matte with zero radiance, this won't *quite* give you that - you'd probably still need some regular setting powder for that, or just skip this product altogether in favor of a very matte loose setting powder. However, if you just want to kill the greasy look that too much shine gives off and still look fresh and natural, this is 100%j for you because it does knock down shine immensely, but without completely dulling out your complexion. It's absolutely natural looking and just stunning! 100% recommend.
