発達障害児を3人育てています。 残り時間が目で見てわかりやすく 時間になると音が鳴るためこれを見ながら朝学校に行く準備をしています。 視覚支援になくてはならない アイテムです。 子供が針をいじって 一度限界まで回してから もう一度設定したい時間に合わせないと 音が鳴らなくなってしまったので、 壊れやすいのが玉に瑕ですが…。

あと○分ね、などといっても、子供にはその○分があとどれくらいなのかが具体的にわからないので、心の準備ができずに終わりを迎えてしまうので納得してくれない。 この商品はあとどれくらいなのか、を視覚的に示すことができる。 赤い部分がなくなったら終わり、徐々に赤い部分が減っていく過程も含めて心の準備ができる。 なのでタイマーがなったとき、終わりと納得してくれる。 「もう一回」、「あとちょっとだけ」といった要望が激減するので親としてもかなりストレスが減る。 タイマーを使っても、ダメな時はもちろんあるけど。 あとこの商品はサイズ的に子供にとって残り時間の赤い色を見やすい大きさなので、小さいサイズもあるけどこのサイズがおすすめです。

保育所の教室で使用していた、同等の製品が壊れたので購入しました。 残量時間を示す赤い面積が広く（２０％以上）なっています。また、アラーム音も１回から３回に増えました。ドライイレースカード（Ｗボードペンで書き込み可）が付き文字盤をアクリルで保護してあります。

Stopped working after using approx. 10 times
After using the unit about 10 times, the timer's time-adjusting knob located at the back wouldn't lock to any set minutes and just returned to its starting place.
