Playscene Novelty Cupcake Holder (Movie Reel)

I used this for a movie themed party. It holds 12 cupcakes

Love this product! Just what I needed. Sturdy and reusable.

Item appears to be a returned product as it arrived in one of Amazon's clear, generic bags (seen lying next to holder in the photo) without any form of instructions on how to assemble. However, it seemed simple enough, so I made the mistake of not opening the package to double check. Unfortunately, the day we needed this was the first day it was opened and that is when we discovered that the two black cross-sections that are needed for stabilizing the top tear (present on the lower tiers) were completely missing, which made the camera portion at the top too unstable to stay upright (it is being held at the top in photo). This made the holder completely unusable without our desperate, last-minute fix of applying a hideous amount of scotch tape to it order to hold the camera piece (somewhat) in place. We were able to obscure much of the tape with cupcakes fortunately, but it became embarassingly apparent as guests pulled from this region, which not only looked absolutely horrible, but sat very sloppily slanted as well. There was also noticeable wear on the edge of the bottom tier as you can see in the photos--though it's impossible to say if that is due to being used (as we suspect) or damage incurred by the substandard bag that it shipped in. Very frustrating and disappointed to have spent nearly $15 on this, but since it had to be covered in tape to make it useful, we cannot return it.
