The color is good. It holds okay amount. You can screw it to the wall in the middle and top but i only screw out in in the middle for mine. I would say for scratch resistant it is good because i have had legos/ceramics on it and it has no scratches. I think it works well in this small space next to my desk

Love the light on top we bought the black and the white love it love it love it. You can get too and make it gigantic shelf. I love it so much.
