At first I didn't know what to think of this unit as it seemed very quiet and I was used to the big dehumidifiers. Well, it started pulling moisture out of the area in our 10x10 room almost immediately. Granted, it doesn't pull as much moisture as a larger unit but for its size, it works well. I was emptying the water every 5 or 6 days which was easy to do. When I would forget, the button on the unit turns orange to indicate the water is fully. Empty it out and start again, no issues and we were impressed. In September, the unit stopped moving air and the fan started to make a rattling sound. Power off, then back on it would clear for a minute then start again. When the fan started rattling, it stopped moving air. I have unplugged the unit and sent an email to the company via a contact form on their website which I was provided by Amazon support. Still waiting on a response to my warranty request as it has only been a couple of days. I will update how this process goes. As of now, I recommend this unit because it does work and is very quiet. Update 10/13/20 - No response from the company.

It's a small little guy, but for my small room, it does the job well. I got a humidifier gauge for my room since I started planting seeds and keeping plants in my room and I realized that my room is constantly averaging 65%. There would be days when it was 70%-75%. The worst day was 80% and that was when I left my window open before going to work with the fan blowing OUT. So, fed up, I bought an affordable dehumidifier for a small room like mine. To help, I kept my window shut and I got rid of standing water for self-watering plants in my room. I also kept a fan on low to help circulate the air in the room gently so that the dehumidifier wouldn't struggle with taking air in if the fan was blowing too strong. By the 3d-4th day it dropped down to 50% and has averaged it since. I'm very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend to anyone looking for less moisture in the air. The only advice I would give is that it is meant for small rooms only (I wouldn't use it in a restroom because I think the moisture would be way too much for its size), keep your window shut (if you have a window fan, have it blowing out, not in, but only do this for a day or two), and then just give it 3-4 days. It works but just like with most solutions, they're not instant and take some time. Just don't do things that would make it harder for it to do its job.

Purchase Criteria: Last month I moved into an older home that had some issues with leaks and had lots of moisture. My clothes, bedding, etc. were always feeling damp and my bedroom just felt uncomfortable in general. I decided the best thing for me to do was to purchase a dehumidifier. My main criteria heading into this purchase were price (I'm a college student so I'm on a fairly tight budget), size (didn't want a huge machine clogging up my already limited space), and effectiveness. Considerations: If you’re like me, you like to consider many different options and weigh the pros and cons of each before making a decision. Before making a purchase I considered 3 models: Pro Breeze PB-03-US Mini 2000ml ($89.99), Hysure Quiet Portable 18oz ($79.99), and the Afloia Electric Home Dehumidifier 700ml ($49.99). While looking at reviews and spec comparisons for all three products the details were nearly identical excluding tank size and price. The Afloia model was the cheapest at $49.99 and also had a medium sized tank so I decided to purchase it. Something I didn’t consider during the purchasing process was the setup of the dehumidifier once I received it. I was ecstatic to find that all I had to do was take it out of the box, plug it in and it was ready to go! The white and teal color scheme also gives it a sleek modern look so it’s not an eyesore. Thoughts After One Week: After a week of using this dehumidifier I have already noticed a significant change in the moisture level in my bedroom! I haven't woken up feeling damp sheets, nor have I had to deal with clothes feeling moist and uncomfortable. Another pleasant side effect has been my room smelling better (I hadn't even actually noticed it smelled bad prior to this) and feeling less muggy than before. The size is also fantastic; it's perfect for use in a bedroom, office, etc.The 700ml tank size is optimal as well as I only need to empty it once every couple of days. The one downside is the price ($50 is a little more than I originally budgeted), but compared to other models I looked at the Afloia model was one of the cheaper options so I don’t think I would’ve gotten much better. All in all I'm very satisfied with this purchase, it hit on two out of the three criteria I was hoping for. It's very portable, easy to place anywhere and has been very effective at removing the excess moisture. If you’re looking for a portable, user friendly, effective dehumidifier for a bedroom or office than this model is right for you.

I purchased this in 2019. It did not appear to work then, and to be honest, I did not know what to expect. I did not return it and did not toss it; I kept it. Fast forward to this month, August 2025. I left it on for a week and was shocked at the amount of water it pulled. It is truly amazing that it is so effective. Great bye

We got this for one of our bathrooms that doesn’t have a ceiling fan to extract the moist out of steam during shower/bath. That bathroom was having grey/black color mold growing and spreading on the walls and ceiling because of not having a fan, we were getting annoyed having to clean them off over and over again.. So we decided to get this dehumidifier to help with our problem. This one’s pricing is reasonable. It looks nice and good quality. And it’s easy to use, we only spent like 10 secs took a peak of the instruction to learn how to use it. Basically only 2 things need to know: 1, lean forward about 45 degree when getting the water tank in or out, 2, pull the black rubber on the water tank out to pour water then put it back in, done. We’ve been turning it on whenever taking a shower/bath, then turning it off after steam has disappeared from bathroom mirror. So far so good. No mold has grown back yet :)

I bought something similar to this product a few years ago, and it was so ineffective, that I gave it to a friend for his bathroom, as it might be useful in a really tiny area. I recently bought this Afloia dehumidifier during a particularly rainy period, thinking it was more powerful than the other one. Wrong. If you are dealing with a lot of rain, or live in a swamp or other very humid area, and you're concerned about mold because the indoor humidity is close to, or above, 70%, then you will need a far more powerful dehumidifier than this cute little device. This doesn't even keep up with my essential oil diffuser, or boiling water for tea/coffee. In fact, after the rain stopped for a couple days, the humidity was lower outside than inside; opening the back door and windows brought the inside humidity down faster than the dehumidifier was doing. Also, for what it's worth, this device, although quiet, is not as quiet as claimed. I tested it when the ambient sound level was 35 dB (at 4:50 am), and as soon as I turned on the dehumidifier, the level jumped to 55 dB. During the day, you probably won't even hear it; but, 55 dB is a lot louder than 35 dB, which is what the manufacturer claims. If you don't mind a cute device taking up space on your counter/table top, go ahead and get this; if you keep it running 24/7 for a few days, it will pull some moisture from the air and bring the humidity level down a percentage point or so. But, it's been raining a lot lately and I've started experiencing allergy problems (probably from the high indoors humidity), so I finally resorted to hauling my heavy dehumidifier up from the store room; it's in the bathroom and the humidity in the kitchen has already gone down from 68% to 62% in the last two hours. It's a noisy clunker, but it's effective.

The unit is not that big, it’s definitely very quiet just not that powerful. I bought this for my bathroom as my bathroom does not have a vent that leads into a duct and as a result a lot of humidity accumulated in the bathroom. This thing is running 24/7 and I empty out the bin about every 48 hours or so. After about a month of use now, I would say it has cleared up a lot of the humidity but again I keep it running all day everyday and I keep my bathroom door open. For the price, I feel it was a bit expensive as I found 3x bigger at HomeDepot for $30 more than what I paid for this one and much more powerful but my issue was that I needed something compact to fit the bathroom.

We have this is a 166 sq ft workshop that has moisture issues. If there's any other sounds including birds outside you won't hear this machine at all, it's pretty quiet. And it works really well! After a lot of rain it fills up pretty fast and that's my only problem with this - you have to realize that it's nice and compact which means if you have high moisture you should check the container every day to see if you need to empty it out. That being said, I do think this would be better in a smaller space. I can tell a more powerful unit would be getting more moisture out of the air but if this was a regular room in a house I think this would be doing the job perfectly.

Good little product that works as advertised. It's a small dehumidifier so don't expect it to work large rooms. I have it in a small closet space to control mold growth and it does the job. Just need to check in a couple of days to empty the reservoir.

Fast delivery and well received. The dehumidifier easy to shift from place to another place. And also absorb the water well and make the air more fresh for my family during current weather. Good product for the house.

I put this unit in my spare bedroom to make sure it works properly and it does! I am putting it in my travel trailer and am very confident it will remove the moisture efficiently.
