An excellent choice and essential for families today
We've had our TickTalk 5 for just under a year and it has become an essential part of our family's "communication plan", keeping us in touch when and where we need to. This has been particularly important as our child increasingly desires to have more independence and the ability to range about our neighborhood. The TickTalk gives us the peace of mind we need in knowing where he is (through reliable tracking) and knowing that he has the ability to stay in touch with us whenever needed. In this way, the TickTalk also serves as our child's introduction to the "digital lifestyle" that we are all living now. Battery life between charges is good and the watch is quite durable. Setup of the watch and the parent app was incredibly easy. Customer service is top tier, with the couple of questions that we had answered immediately (by a human, no less!). If you've got an energetic kid like mine (and you probably do), I would encourage you to purchase the extended warranty, it's not that much $$ and it is so worth it. The one time we needed service, thanks to a bad fall, TickTalk honored the warranty promptly. The fact that TickTalk offers this option is fantastic and says a lot about how they stand behind their product.

Must have for your child
Got this for my 10-year-old right as he started junior high, and it's been a great fit for that first step toward independence. AI SmartPin Tracking – Uses Google Maps + AI to keep refining location accuracy, even indoors. Way more reliable than other kid trackers I've tried, especially useful now that he's moving around a bigger campus. Parent App Controls – I can manage his watch settings, check call logs, and view location history with route playback right from my phone. Also set custom reminders (pickup times, homework) which helps him stay on track without me nagging. Solid pick for parents easing their kid into more independence while still having real peace of mind. Highly recommend. - Arief

A great smartwatch
My son wears his TickTalk 5 watch almost everywhere—from school to his sports games—and it gives me complete peace of mind. The video calling is my absolute favorite feature, and the GPS tracking is great. It is super easy for him to use, and I love that it has zero distractions like internet access or video games. For extra safety, only trusted contacts added by us parents can call or text the watch, which blocks all unknown numbers. I highly recommend it if you want a reliable, safe way to stay connected with your child.
