Only from the app. Do not attempt to dim the power to the strip. These require constant power from an outlet. Dimming the power to the strip will damage the driver.

Is there a compatible 4-pin cable I can use to clear a gap over my kitchen sink?

I spray painted the front edge of the aluminum to match the ceiling. Options: *Shoe Moulding in front of metal channel. *a piece of matching contact paper along the front edge. More Options: Run the LEDs on the ceiling, and attach a flat piece of Shoe Moulding or baseboard in front of them like a valence.

Will there be an update to allow Lifx lights to work with a router that combines 5 and 2.4? Trying to hook to a new router is impossible.

What I did was have both 5 and 2.4 set up, and renamed 2.4 what I wanted my combined network to be. Set up the lights and then had the router combine the bands.
