Review: A huge undertaking of the Alien/Predator franchise.... - As other reviewers have mentioned, you must read the previous two books in the series to fully grasp how this entry ties everything together. As the title of this review suggests, the Rage War is a massive undertaking of the AVP universe. Full of original ideas, fast-paced action, great character development, I couldn't put these books down. This story paves the way for a whole new direction in the AVP universe, including what is humanity's place in the years set after this story. I hope there are plans to continue along with this story. It would be a shame for something so profound, unique and good as the Rage War to be left hanging out there with a big question mark without resolution and further exploration a cheat to the series and the fans that will invest their time and money into this series. There's something great here... They need to keep the momentum. In conclusion, to me, this series... the ending of it is actually a beginning. Read it and see what I'm taking about.
