So far so good I am very impressed
I have gone through a few of these small welders . I won't mention names but they were popular brands. The last machine I had went bad and I needed a welder in a hurry so I took a chance on this one. I mostly use it for Flux core welding as I did with all of them. At first it was a little different in fact the settings seemed to be more accurate than my previous ones. Once I got everything figured out I was truly amazed at how good this thing worked . For me it was like night and day as for the quality of the weld itself. Like most of the welders I had I ran them on 220 including this one. Don't be mistaken though this like many other of these welders are not for commercial work unless it's just for repairs. It will easily weld up to 3/8 thick and you might be able to get 1/2 inch with a few passes. But if you go that route you need to get the correct wire that you can do multiple passes with. One other thing. If you want good welds do not bother using that shield that comes with it. Get a decent auto darkening helmet it will make all the difference in the world .

Really Good Welder
If you need a welder around the house or you have a shop you cannot go wrong with this one . I give it a 5 star with one complaint . It works really well but the helmet or mask what ever they call it is pure redicolus ! If that's what your gonna give your customers keep it . But I highly recommend this welder just order you a helmet if you don't have one .

They say never get a second chance for a first impression. This might be an exception.
First impression wasn't great. Pretty light. Mask is an absolute joke. Really, save yourself the expense and just don't include it. Anyone who would weld with that shouldn't be using a welder. Or probably any tool beyond a hammer or screwdriver. The wire spool was the biggest issue. There's nothing keeping it from unspooling after you put it in unless I missed something. I managed to stop it from unspooling by making a sort of brake from a folded piece of rubber mat. The million dollar question: Does it weld? YES! And rather well. I tried out the stick welder first after seeing that you have to remove the wire feeder to plug in the stick electrode. That's a big bummer. I first tried my 3/32 stick and ran a decent bead to join two 1/8 pieces of steel. I then tried my fat 5/32 and managed to do a decent job with it. I bought this to replace a Chicago electric wire welder I burned up after pluggung it into 220v, forgetting it was not dual voltage like my little stick welder. I had a little trouble with the wire feeding at first, but after running a couple of feet through, it did a better job than the standalone welder I replaced. I ran a decent bead with it as well. Now I can do both welds with one machine. Might not though with having to pull the wire back out to use the stick, but it's nice to have as a backup.

Great buy
Tried it out the first day I got it and was very impressed. The controls are simple, nice digital display, and it's incredibly lightweight. Great buy.

If you’re thinking about getting one get this one!
I am truly blown away at how good this little welder works! I love it and my buddys that come over have used it to and they say the same thing! It’s surprising how good it is for its size!

Runs good with fluxcore 220
First things first you pay for what you get. Dont expect a 2000$ welder for only 120$. I am personally a stick welder guy and have been doing if for years for work. However tired of it and wanted to try flux core. This is my first time ever doing it and im impressed. Worked good fast setup and it was easy going through the settings. Kinda hard to see what voltage im at but it could just be my eyes and the sun. I did not use the wire it came with i bought a roll from princess auto. Dont judge my welds this is my first time with a gun. So far happy with it. Have about an hour of use running 8” beads. Please stop making the stupid plastic shields and chipping hammers its a joke. Running 220 only !!! Not 120
