can this be used as a thermostat for a boiler, to replace a dial thermostat

My boiler (vokera easi-heat plus) switched at 0V so had to get a 240V relay inserted to do so. Worked fine after that but this is definitely not just a case of plugging in to any boiler hoping it will work as it could damage the boiler.

Can this just replace a dial thermostat for central heating

Not necessarily - I discovered it does not just switch the two wired from the heating system but applies power to them. If you dial thermostat applies power it will be fine but if it is like mine and just a switch then no it wont be suitable.

Can the clock be adjusted please if it gains time?

Yes, just hold the clock type looking button down for 5 seconds until the top part of the display starts flashing. Then push the clock button again to get to the hours, move up down using the arrows. Clock button again gets you to the minutes, then clock button once more saves the new time.
