There is not suction on this reacher. It is a quality reacher. Has a good handle. I like the feature that allows the grabber to turn. The grabbler is lined with a softer rubber that allows the reacher to easily pick up items. I didn't need two more reachers but bought this style because it is the best reacher/ grabber style to use. I gave it 4 stars because the is no hole in the handle to put a rope to hang the grabber. The designers need to add a way to hang the reacher.

Great product! Much more sturdy/heavy duty and can pick up heavier items than the Gopher/Grabber Brands. The only disadvantage of this one is that it doesn’t fold in half, but not folding is part of what makes this one more heavy duty. I would purchase it again.

Really happy with these when I first got them, but the first one broke within a month of light use, and the second one didn't last much longer than that. They both broke in the same place, right at the grip where the wire connects with the handle. When you squeeze the handle the metal wire gets pulled and bent, and it's just a matter of time before it breaks. It's a shame too, because these are nice and light, and the rubberized jaws work so well I can pick a dime up off a wood floor. If they could fix the design flaw or used better materials so the wire didn't break, these would be great. Three stars because the design is really good, and I guess if all you did is pick dimes up off wood floors these might last forever :)

I have had these grippers for about six months, and use them to pick up rocks and wood pieces when mowing. My lawn is very rocky with various sizes of rocks and wood pieces. I have only had to get off my mower once because the rock was larger than the opening of the jaws. If you can grip it you can lift it. I have two grandboys (ages 3 and 6) that play with them also and they haven’t broken them. Highly recommend. I purchased another pair because nothing last forever.

Had a similar one for a few years. Much better than bending to pick up limbs and trash in the yard. Light weight. It broke in a pile of heavy stuff in the truck. So I got these two. Work great good angle and grip. Have other types I just don’t like because grip area too small or wrong angle so sticks and stuff are hard to pick up or drop into the wheelbarrow. I’ll buy them again when they cease to function.
