Overall the screen looks great. The setup took some time but process is straightforward. The frame is made of good quality metal and feels sturdy. As an ALR screen it does the job well and rejects most ambient light. I use it with my XGIMI UST projector and the image looks clear and crisp on the screen.

Overall, I’m happy with this projector screen. It was pretty easy to put together, and I really appreciated that they included extra parts. That gave me some peace of mind during assembly. The instructions worked, but they were a bit too simple. I wish they explained things a little more clearly, especially since getting some of the brackets and parts lined up just right took some trial and error. It wasn’t impossible, just a little finicky at times. The included gloves were very small and not great quality, but they were usable and did the job. On the positive side, I really like the cloth to set the screen on and the overall quality of the parts. Everything feels solid once it’s assembled. With slightly better instructions and easier-to-adjust hardware, this would easily be a 5-star product. This screen looks great, better than I expected and is at a fair price as well! I’m glad I got it.

Was time consuming to assemble but worth every penny! Makes a MASSIVE difference in picture quality

We are a custom AV installation company with 30 years experience. We had the opportunity to spec and install this 120" ALR screen from NothingProjector this week. The install went very well. The aluminum frame for this screen is the best quality I have seen yet. We sell competitive screens from Draper, Dalite, SI and Dragonfly. The setup is super easy. (Two people makes it simple) Great quality for the screen material, awesome ambient light control. Projected image looks the same room lights on or off. The wall mounting brackets are a breeze with spring loaded releases. I will attach photos of the screen and a custom UST projector cabinet we built for a high end client.

This screen exceeded my expectations in every way. The setup was straightforward (took about an hour), and the frame feels solid and premium. The biggest surprise was the picture quality – the contrast and black levels are noticeably better, even in a room with moderate ambient light. It truly brings out the best in my Hisense l9g projector, delivering sharp, vibrant images that pop even during the day. The light rejection technology really works! Also, I appreciate how well the tensioning system works — the screen surface is perfectly flat, with no waves or wrinkles. The build quality is excellent for the price, and it feels like a premium product. Highly recommend!

Very disappointing, did not roll up , nothing worked, returning

It wasn’t the easiest to put together but also wasn’t that hard. Make sure you have the screen centered on the frame when you get the first springs on all the corners. Overall good picture and compared to cost of others good quality for price.

When it comes to setting up a 4K ultra short throw projector in the home theater this ALR screen stands out because of its increased reflectivity having both matte finished texture and framed edging. The engineering of the screen also comes with some drawbacks as the fabric lining has a multi coated ALR textured finish allowing for minimizing ambient light while increasing the vibrancy and saturation of colors from ultra short throw projectors. While it can be DIY utilized with mid range 4K projectors since the screen measures a diagonal 100 inches and is designed for wall mounting the ALR effect is designed to maximize angular reflexivity while reducing top down ambient light. However despite the fancy projector screen lining material I found that installation and setup process is a rather complex approach. It becomes a lengthy DIY project of carefully assembling the aluminum trim on the frame of this projector screen. Thoughtfully the outer rim comes with matte finished coating that aligns into the rear panel components creating this sleek 4K cinematic TV appearance despite being a projector screen. The thoughtful slim frame bezel that makes it feel like a 16:9 aspect ratio wide screen display is what makes this ALR screen stand out for projection in the home theater room. Wall mounting hardware is included but requires drilling and aligning the screen level. There is a kit of both drywall screws, studs, and measuring templates to ensure that this UHD projection screen is aligned well and positioned to create a load bearing capacity evenly between the spacing of the wall mounts. Picture quality across this 4K projector screen is fancy because of the matte finish both on the side framing, aluminum components and the anti glare coating on the screen surface area itself. Assembly process of unrolling the display fabric and spanning it across using the included set of springs, mounting brackets of the projector screen frame is not the most straight forward process. It utilizes a series of inline metal shims with L brackets on the edges to construct the aluminum frame. The outer bezel is screwed into position after aligning the frame onto the screen surface area itself. Unrolling the fabric screen has to be done on a flat surface which takes up a bit of room for assembly while being careful to minimize creasing despite being designed to expand outward using spring hinges on the aluminum rails. There is a noticeable level of dark gray coating so I would say that the black level of the projector screen during ambient daylight projection is somewhat mixed as the increased gamma is noticeable. Simply put that the display having a dark gray matte coating of the projector screen creates this modern vibe in the home theater room while being compatible with UST 4K projector range of sub 3ft. Keystone alignment is straight forward to do and once the spring based expansion effect takes place it does create this flat surface area optimized for 4K projection. Overall this is a cinematic 4K ALR based projector screen with angular light reflectivity designed for ultra short throw projector systems and can be wall mounted but the assembly does require carefully putting together the components as a DIY project to figure out.

Voici mon retour détaillé sur l'écran ALR UST NothingProjector 100 pouces : L'installation (Le point noir) : Montage complexe : La mise en place est loin d'être simple. Alignement, équerrage au sol et ajustements avec les réglages proposés demandent beaucoup de patience et de minutie. Tension de la toile difficile : Au moment de fixer la toile sur la structure, celle-ci semble manquer un peu de longueur sur les bords, ce qui rend la toile difficile à tendre et à régler correctement. Finition à la réception : Le kit cadre est arrivé légèrement rayé dans mon cas, ce qui est bien dommage pour un produit de cette gamme. La qualité d'image (Le gros point fort) : Excellente restitution : Une fois le calvaire de l'installation passé, la qualité visuelle est au rendez-vous. Gestion de la lumière : Que ce soit en plein jour avec de la lumière ambiante ou plongé dans le noir, le rejet de la lumière du plafonnier fonctionne très bien et l'image reste nette et contrastée. Esthétique : Les bordures noires très fines donnent un look moderne et très propre une fois fixées au mur. En résumé : L'écran tient ses promesses sur la partie visuelle avec un très beau rendu en ultra courte portée. En revanche, armez-vous de patience (et idéalement soyez deux) pour le montage et l'ajustement qui s'avèrent assez laborieux.
