CulliganISH-100 Showerhead Water Filter-SHOWERHEAD FILTER (Parallel import goods)

Short version: Easy to install, does not leak, and does exactly what it says it will do. Chlorine smell gone, skin not super dry and "coated" feeling after showers anymore. Would buy again. Long version: I was tired of high chlorine levels in our city water and the irritation it caused my skin. My wife couldn't smell or feel it so she didn't sympathize. Fortunately this is inexpensive enough she didn't complain that I bought it. When I opened the package I was pleasantly surprised to see teflon tape included - this saved me a trip to the basement to dig mine up. Installation was a snap - take off the shower head (this also gave a good opportunity to soak the shower head in some CLR to clean the nozzles out) and while it was soaking, put the filter on. I think I understand why some people say theirs leaks. The stem that fastens onto the shower spout is also the pivot point for the filter unit. If you don't tighten the screw onto the main shower spout tight enough, this pivot point is not tightened enough and leaks. It happened to me, and another 3/4 turn onto the spout and the leak was gone. This might be tough to visualize if you don't yet own this, but it should make sense if you make the purchase and have a similar issue. I would not hesitate to buy this again. It does the job well - so well that even my wife could tell a difference in how the water smells and feels.

Holy Crap! This filter saved my hair! I recently moved n was blessed with "town water" 4 months in my hair felt like straw, turned a brassy color and was dry as anything I ordered this lil gem and it was shipped the same day and arrived 3 days early My hair (after 2 showers) is back to normal and my skin even looks and feels amazing I rarely leave reviews but this deserves one I already asked for O e for Xmas :)

Inmediatamente se siente una mejora en la calidad del agua, se instala en 2 minutos, eso si tienes que tener una buena presión, por que disminuye la presión de tu tubería, por la poca diferencia recomiendo la de metal, mejora tu piel, al final del regaderazo la piel no luce tan reseca como antes de poner el filtro, ampliamente recomendable

Great product. Removes about 30 % of the chlorine. If you combine it with the Culligan RDSH-C115 RainDisc Showerhead with filter, the two together should filter out 60% of the chlorine.
