US made quality - no problems whatsoever - produces a steady stream of fun tumbled rocks
Lortone Rock Tumbler: 33B Kit: I'm glad that I did my research and bought this US made tumbler instead of one of the many much cheaper no names. Of course all tumblers produce noise but the Lortone's isn't annoying, especially since it spins away in a spare room. With monthly maintenance, 1 drop of oil in strategic places, there've been no problems. And with 4 standard grits I had a 1/3 success rate at first with random rocks. I quickly learned the types that tumble best and looked for those at the beach and in the desert. After a few months my success rate is holding at about 80%. See pics.

After a month and a half of use ....
PERFECT! Picked up some rocks out of Lake Huron and put them through this beast …. they are coming out perfect. Especially my Pudding Stones!
