Great Book on Controls
This was no disappointment, in that Norm Lieberman gets the important information across in a very easy to understand manner. He uses personal stories just like in his other books, to illustrate points with some humor, and to help make technical details easy to grasp. I don't remember which of his books I first bought, but every one of them has been a 5-star book based on both content and readability.I am sure there are engineers as bright or brighter than Lieberman, but I have yet to read any books on the process side of industry that are as entertaining or informative. Wiley has a winner in Mr. Lieberman and I wish them both many more new Lieberman books before Norman P. Lieberman finally hangs up his hat and quits writing for those who enjoy learning from him.

Solid
Excellent practical guide to process trouble-shooting. Doesn't have a lot of technical formulas.calcs, but gets down to business on control issues and proper ways to develop control loops for equipment. Author also has a solid sense of humor.

Easy to read, easy to understand
Love this book. Norm is a great writer and he wrote a very helpful book. I have other of his titles, and Iโm happy with all of them

Good Primer On Plant Process Troubleshooting.
very useful information for those starting to troubleshoot plant processes. I work in the wastewater industry and even though the focus of this work is not for this industry, it definetly gave me some good hints on troubleshooting.

If you've enjoyed Norm's humor and insights about life
This was an incredible book. If you've enjoyed Norm's humor and insights about life, you might also enjoy his new book,"My Race Against Death" which is about his life as a runner. At the age of 73, he's just run two marathons.

Troubleshooting Process Plant control
The book is very clear, and easy to understand. It adds upon the knowledge you already have. If you are a novice you will better understand process controls. I recommend this book to anyone in the field of operations.Thank youJoe

And another one!
This is yet another addition to Norman Lieberman's impressive output of literary chemical engineering non-fiction books. I have to split this review into two parts, for reasons that will hopefully become clear later on.Part I: Review for potential readers of LieberbooksTroubleshooting Process Plant Control is set up along the same lines as the other books (e.g. troubleshooting process operations, t.s. natural gas operations, working guide to process equipment): the writer delves spicey stories out of his treasure chest of real-life experience which he uses to entertain and illuminate the reader at the same time. His books are extremely educational while making for extremely pleasant & easy reading. Lieberman is a natural born story-teller and a first rate educator. Never before was reading about process plants so much fun.Re-reading the above, I am not sure if I am arguing my case sufficiently strongly. Seriously, if you never bought a book by Lieberman before and you have even the slightest interest in chemical engineering, buy this book now!!! You will not regret it.Part II: Review for those who already read all other LieberbooksWell, buying this book is still worth the money. However, I have to say there is a lot of repetition from earlier books. This is a general issue with Lieberman's books, if you have read 'troubleshooting natural gas processing' a lot in 'troubleshooting process operations' is repetition, and so on. Again, I would still recommend buying this book, I enjoyed it, but yes it does contain some recycled material from previous books.
