Madonna by Daryl Easlea (2010) Hardcover

As a huge Madonna fan, I have a number of books about her but this is absolutely the best of the best. To begin with, it's much larger than I thought it would be and the cover is gorgeous. Then, there's the content - huge, bright pictures of gorgeous Madonna from before and throughout her record-breaking career. This is not just a picture book, though, because you could spend hours reading the detailed text that covers her work and all aspects of her career. To make it even better, there are detailed timelines of pinnacle dates throughout her career and a discography. If you are a Madonna fan, you just absolutely need to get this book which celebrates the megastar in the style that suits her stellar career.

Gorgeous, fabulous, extraordinary, beautiful! This book is the best Madonna book ever! It is in full color, nice thick pages, velvet cover, & the fold out timelines are excellent! Very well done!! Fantastic collectors item!

"Madonna" by Daryl Easlea & Eddi Fiegel is a quirky book that covers among the following: Page 15: The Meaning Behind Lucky Star Page 73: How Madonna's church upbringing indirectly shaped her music Pages 87-93: The events surrounding the release of Madonna's "Erotica" album and media spotlight around her infamous and controversially named book. Page 199: The circumstances around what she had went through in order to adopt Mercy. Of course, there is much more in this book (including quality Madonna photos) and "Madonna" by Daryl Easlea & Eddi Fiegel is best for those who are Madonna fans and/or like to collect books around certain musicians.

I own serveral Madonna books but this is by far the most extensive and well put together. Any Madonna fan would love this, trust me and on another note this publisher is bankrupt, there will be NO 2nd edition. This is a future collector's item. get it while you can.

I have seen many of madonna book and i really have to admit it is a great book and Beautiful and well done When i first ordered it didn't expect this much even i was a little disappointed should have more pictures but it is really well done and madonna you are still the QUEEN..........

Has to be one of the best books iv bought, I actually thought it was going to be your average Madonna book but boy did I get a surprise when this humongous boom arrived in the post,its full of wonderful facts and pictures and has lots about each album..who needs Wikipedia when you have this book.

I am a high school student in Japan! I'm trying the book because I wanted to read a book about her in English. Now,I'm enjoying looking her photos and reading a little. It will be so long time by I'll have completed.
