Better than my expensive ones!
I originally purchased the Atom Pro a couple of years ago and I loved them! I ordered the Atom Pro 2 because I liked some of the new features. WOW!! What an improvement to an already great Atom Pro. 4 different hearing "modes" and 5 preset volume settings make the Atom Pro 2 well worth the the purchase price. Super easy to change mode or volume setting with the press of the button on the end of the unit. Very small in size and that makes them almost invisible when you wear them. I experienced absolutely NO whistle or feed back from them. Fast recharging requires simply placing them in the portable charging case which can be also be used to recharge the hearing aids while traveling or if power is lost. It would be nice if they were blue tooth compatible but sure isn't a deal breaker. One of the few products that I have recently purchased that I truly felt I had "got my money's worth". They are a bargain!!! UPDATE!!!!!!! Bad news. One hearing aid quit after 2 weeks. I was actually wearing them when it made an audible "click" and shut down. Would appear to charge normally but would die in 30 seconds. Good news! Called customer support who were super helpful in testing and then issuing a return label and immediately sending a replacement. Received the replacement in 3 days and returned the defective unit. One of the replacement units appeared to be defective but after discharging completely and recharging appear to be working properly now. Again, customer support was excellent! I suspect dirty charging contacts were the problem. Overall great customer service and support for an excellent product. UPDATE TO THE LAST UPDATE>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The replacement unit was, in fact, defective. Called customer support and they immediately sent a replacement unit. 3 days later USPS says they had been delivered to the mailbox. NOPE! Never got delivered! Again called customer service who again immediately sent the replacement. Received the replacement unit (Again) promptly and well packed in 3 days. Plugged them up until they showed a full charge and put them in and we're back in business. I can't say enough good about the company, their product and certainly their customer service. Audien turned a situation that could have been miserable into an example of the way a problem should be handled! I wouldn't buy a product like this from anyone else!

Affordable, Simple, and Life-Changing Hearing Solution
My wife had been using a custom-molded hearing device (only one piece) that cost us $2,000 at the time, but unfortunately it stopped working. When I began looking for alternatives, I discovered Audien—and it has been a game changer. Unlike traditional devices, there’s no need for a doctor’s appointment or to hook up to a technician’s computer. The Audien hearing aids are small, convenient, and easy for my wife to use whether she’s at home, at work, or on the go. The price is simply incomparable to other expensive brands, yet the quality is excellent. For years I wondered why, with technology advancing so rapidly in headphones and earbuds, companies hadn’t developed a simpler solution for hearing devices. My prayers were answered when Audien did exactly that. I strongly recommend Audien to anyone seeking an affordable, effective, and user-friendly hearing solution. On top of everything, I’ve also experienced outstanding customer service, which makes the whole experience even better.

Products far from ready for market from this vendor!!
April 19, 2025 Being a seasoned customer of Audien hearing from the first Atom through the newest ION Pro. There is a common thread in there marketing tactics, sell it with its flaws and we will fix all the mistakes and call it a new model and reap new sales. I have had experience with every product they have offered for sale. The same tactic, not ready for sale, is utilized up to and including the new ION Pro. This new product is the answer to all prior model mistakes however is riddled with problems. Take my advice don't look for reviews on the Audien site it's easy to get those posted and the bad ones removed. ***Here is the latest review update which includes the ION and ION Pro. Below are the issues that need to be addressed to make the ION close to becoming functional. 1. OFF/ON Slider is not a Rocker switch as stated in the docs. Can’t Tap a slider switch. 2. Approx.1/8” between off/on Slider switch “ON” position + volume up can’t select up volume – can’t control from ear. 3. At what volume level is device set at - no indication of current level. Must go all the way up or down to get beep to indicate what to do. 4. Same operational problems from Atom – bad multi-functional switch. 5. High point at end of Power Slider switch Off position prohibits depressing Volume up. 6. I updated to the Pro after 2 days there is too many issues with the Pro. 7. The ION is far from being worth the cost. Below are the issues that need to be addressed to make the ION Pro close to becoming functional. 1. Ear cup restrainer to stabilize ear bud. 2. Blue connectivity as reviewed by other users is as close to worthless one could get. 3. When it is connected via Bluetooth it constantly states disconnects and re-connects. 4. When is loses the Bluetooth connectivity, as opposed to stating “disconnected” it states “connected” for both connection statuses. 5. You must spend a great deal of time daily manually reconnecting the Bluetooth connection. *** Status of above open items *** 1. Last Saturday (4-5-2025) I spoke with an ION Pro technician. He was aware of the connectivity items 2,3, & 5 with the ION Pro above. He told me that to eliminate the connectivity issues the phone app had to be closed after using it. This would prevent the app from running in the background. I followed his suggestion, however that did not solve the issues. I found a fix for myself. However, that fix only pertains to my specific environment as far as I’m aware of. FINAL *** as of 3-19-2025 I finally have written off these purchases and associated issues that thy will remain as described above. Either accept these issues and live with them because they will most likely remain until the next model comes out!! CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!!

Comfort, Quality and Great Value Hearing Aids
A few years ago my mother had her hearing tested and it turns out she had 40% hearing loss in both ears (no surprise to me given how loud she always had the TV and how often I had to repeat myself!). She spent a few thousand on hearing aids only to discover she didn’t like wearing them. They were the small over-the-ear kind and she found them very uncomfortable to wear with glasses, had trouble putting them on, and always had to buy new batteries for the odd times that she did actually wear them which was not very often much to my dismay! She had seen an ad on TV for these Audien Hearing Atom Pro2 hearing aids and wants to try them. I couldn’t get them in Canada but found them on the US Amazon site and they shipped to Canada and happened to be on sale! She loved them from day one! • They are the perfect size and a comfortable fit even when wearing them for a long time. It took her no time at all to adjust to these. • She says the sound quality is great and she can easily adjust the settings as needed for different environments. • She loves the fact that they have a long battery life, are rechargeable and come with a carrying case which acts as a battery pack to recharge them. • She has no problems putting them in or taking them out despite having limited mobility of one arm. She has had them for about a month now and is very happy she bought them…- and I’m happy not having to repeat everything I say to her anymore! Time will tell how long they will last, but so far these seem to be a great product that give you value for your money, especially if you don’t want to spend thousands of dollars to improve your hearing!

Work well for the price
Hearing aids are not perfect, but work well enough. We have had to call customer service a couple of times, but they have been helpful. For the price, they are a good option.

Atom Pro 2 a little wonder
I am the daughter of my 94 year old mother. She is legal blind and has a hearing loss of 80 db in one ear and 60 db in the other. This is a great little hearing aid. I have only given it a 3 star review because I took off a star because they need more detailed information in the documentation Audien sends in the box. They do not tell you the hearing aid case is fully charged and ready to use. The Atom Pro 2 has a factory preset hearing volume and mode set to 3. Customer service did not know this and I figured it out. This is quite high because when I first put in mom’s ear she said it was way too loud. The Atom Pro 2 has a small dome on the hearing aid from the factory. When I called customer service they recommended the large dome to help it stay in the ear and stop the squealing. This should be written in the information as well. I could not find in the brochure how long it takes to charge the hearing aid case. Next, I held the Atom Pro 2 close to my ear to hear the beeps or boops in order to change the volume and mode. That is a little difficult to determine you must listen closely. I know my mom would not be able to determine these sounds due to the loss of her range of hearing. I took off another star due to the location of the button to change the volume and mode which is on the end where the little wire is located. It can be bumped so easily and changed if it hits your ear or you touch it when putting in the ear canal or in the case. Mom’s hearing aid would change the volume when I was so cautious not to touch or change it. I would like a different way of adjusting the volume on the Atom Pro 2. Mom might have touched the hearing aid in her ear and hit the button, accidentally changing the volume. She kept losing the Atom Pro 2 it would fall out of her left ear when chewing. I tried several different domes. Finally, I used an old dome from the Audien EV3 that stayed in a little better but it still fell out. She had problems with feed back due to the volume being so high. I turned the mode and volume down to one because it was too loud. She would hear buzzing or beeping because the hearing aid did not fit properly in her ear. Since the Atom Pro 2 kept falling out of her ear on the table, floor and other times in her clothes. This was a real problem with her low vision. I was concerned she would permanently loss it. Aleli a representative from Audien Hearing called and listened to all my concerns, suggestions and problems. We determined due to mom’s ear canal we are upgrading to the behind the ear Audien hearing aid. I think this will be a better fit for her. Aleli is a 5 star employee she listens, is compassionate, understanding, helpful, resourceful, professional, knowledgeable, and very kind. Atom Pro 2 has great features such as; they are small and compact. The hearing aids automatically charge and are cleaned when you put them in the case. Mom has been using the hearing aids for 17 days and there are still 2 lights on the charging case. It seems once the case is charged it lasts for a long time. I would recommend these hearing aids and their fantastic customer service. The Atom Pro 2 hearing aid is a little wonder.

Customer service goes above and beyond!!
Purchased these as I knew my prescription aids were reaching their limits. I used these as a back up until I was used to them. They are very convenient and comfortable and my hearing is every bit as clear as with the pricey prescription aids. My ear openings are small and the only concern I have is the inability for the earbuds to vent properly thus having moisture build in my ears which irritates them by days end. I called customer service and explained this to Allan and he suggested a different bud which will fit my product. I am anxiously awaiting these, hopefully my problem will be solved. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

4 month update - Had to lower my rating mainly due to lack of background noise cancellation.
I want to give my second review after having these four months. Quite frankly, I’m very disappointed in them. At first I was happy that I was having an increase of volume that I could hear better, and the fitting session online with a specialist was excellent. However, more and more I find myself not able to wear these, realizing that they are not really background noise canceling at all. I only wear them when I go out to public places, visit with friends, or driving with a friend. In every case, the background noise is horrendous! I can’t wear these in a restaurant because I’m hearing the person from 20 feet away at a dinner party talking to their friends just as much as the person sitting across the table from me. Imagine multiplying that now by 50 customers in the restaurant, and noisy cooks in the back and you can imagine how miserable of an experience this is. When I’m driving or riding in the car with a friend, and I’m wearing these hearing aids on also hearing every sound of the road, the noise of the car, everything and hardly hearing the person talking to me. The five volume levels do not help. Also, the air cups that they provided did not have anything that fit my ear size, so I adapted headset pods which worked fine in one year but not the other. So, very often I wear only one in the left here because the hearing cushion fits, but I cannot wear the right without horrible whistling going off no matter how I adjust them. Not only is it so loud in my head when it’s whistling but I’ve had people standing 10 feet away from me cringe at the amount of sound that it puts out even for them. The bottom line for me, and that I feel like I’ve wasted money now. Original Review: I’ve come to Amazon three times to buy “OTC” hearing aids, after doing a great amount of research and customer reviews each time. The other two times, I wound up with hearing aids that sounded terrible or I could not wear because of the feedback. One time, by the time I was ready to send them back because of my dissatisfaction, the seller did not even exist anymore. The other time, the feedback was horrible but I waited too long to return them and reached out to the so-called customer service and “doctors” behind the product - to which it just turned out to be fake advertising. There was no company as far as I could tell because nobody ever responded back to me. This time, I was down to three choices on Amazon and had to just choose one by fate to see if it would turn out to be legit, but I promised myself I would send it back immediately if there was any problem. So, I picked these that I am reviewing. Well, there was a little problem immediately, but the set actually came with a little card with a QR code on it that not only extended my warranty for an extra year if I scanned it, but I could reach out now to Customer Service and tell them that no matter how I was putting this in my ears, they were squealing badly. I thought I was going to have to send them back. Within two days I was on the phone with a real Customer Service person, Carlos, who was very professional and oriented me entirely to the product step-by-step, and how to combine the right cups with turning the devices in each ear to finally have them position so that they did not give microphone feedback. Now they operate extremely well! I don’t know if going to Costco and paying $1500 for hearing aids would be any better than these. I am very impressed with them, and I’m very fussy. Carlos concluded the call with assuring me that I have 45 days to be completely satisfied or they would upgrade me too an exterior set for free. But I’m very satisfied at this point with these and he assured me that he will be my contact point from here on if I ever have any problems, regardless of how long I own them. I don’t know how better I could express that I’m a highly satisfied customer. And I highly recommend these if you are agonizing over the research of wanting not to throw money away again at Amazon stores with catalogs of numerous products but are not the makers and who won’t be there when the factories overseas change their names every few months so they don’t have to back their products.
