Majority of problems with this system seems to be with separation of disc. Has Dremel addressed/corrected this problem?

Yes it comes apart easy. The screw down ones are better but a pain. I will not buy again until they fix them. To expensive and they break easy.

Good quality product. But for metal and plastics. It can burn hardwood. Very easy to use with my Dremel 8150. It's solid and safe if I use it properly. It stores everything neatly in a box. Worth the money definitely.
