The Woodmans Pal with wooden handle is the ultimate bad boy to own in a multi-use survival machete! I have purchased this and it does everything it's designed for and is very durable. I like the size, which works for me in clearing camp sites and pathways, and hillside brush around my residence. Really sharp blade, and I like it's two sided design. I'm getting my brother one for his birthday!

The Woodsman Pal is the Best survival blade ever made
The Woodsman Pal, is hands down the finest survival blade ever made. I have been using one for over 30 years and have three. It outperforms any machete, parang, golok etc. I have ever tested. The 1075 spring steel blade, is absolutely Perfect and holds an edge Extremely Well. Issued to the US military since 1941 for a reason. I give it 100 stars. Purchase a Woodsman Pal and have a valued tool for life.

Lite Weight and Very Effective
This is my favorite hand axe, and the 2nd one of these I've bought in 25 years! If you have lots of Grape Vine and Rip shins, this is light enough to carry all day while still being very effective for the task. The state Naturalist said, "If you care about your trees, cut the vines every time you're out there!"
