It’s one of the better plant based proteins. Less bloat and it taste like a milk shake.

I’ve tried a lot of ready-to-drink protein shakes (both dairy and plant-based), and most of them fall into one of two categories: they either taste chalky or they’re way too sweet to drink consistently. The Koia Elite Chocolate sits in a pretty rare middle ground. First impression: it actually tastes like chocolate, not “protein chocolate.” It’s rich but not candy-sweet, and there’s no strong artificial aftertaste. I usually drink it straight from the fridge post-workout or as a quick breakfast when I’m on shift, and it goes down easily without feeling heavy. Texture is smoother than I expected for something with 32g of plant protein. It’s not watery like some RTD shakes, but it’s also not thick or milkshake-like. Just a clean, drinkable consistency. I’ve had zero issues with clumping or weird separation as long as I shake it well. What I like most is the macro profile. 32g of protein with only 4g of sugar and 6g of fiber makes it feel more like an actual recovery option than a “treat.” It also keeps me full longer than I expected for a 12oz bottle, which makes it useful as a meal stand-in during busy shifts. A few honest downsides: it’s not cheap compared to powder, and the fiber content might bother some people if they’re not used to higher-fiber drinks. Also, if you prefer super thick, dessert-style shakes, this is more “functional” than indulgent. Overall, this has become my default grab-and-go protein option when I don’t feel like mixing powder or cleaning a shaker. Not perfect, but easily one of the better plant-based RTD options I’ve found.

These are amazing protein drinks! Dairy free, but delicious with 32g of protein. My whole family loves them! A great way to hit your protein goal every day!

Pleasantly surprised! My young teen is going through a lot of major orthodontic work. Eating has been difficult for her. I had been on the search for a good protein supplement to make sure she’s at least getting what she needs on the daily even if her diet isn’t what it should be. She is hands-down one of the pickiest eaters I have ever seen with texture issues. She loves this. I no longer get grief about how horrible it tastes and she drinks it without being asked. An absolute win for us!
