Q: Can this rack be used to carry a kayak? i'd like to have a dual use rack for a kayak and a sup.

Absolutely. I've used it for my sup boards (can carry up to 3 at a time) and my 12' kayak. It works great for both.

Q: Does anyone have instructions for removal? I want to take it off for the winter.
