Perfect travel companion and home safety device I bought this Kidde CO detector for peace of mind during hotel stays and road trips. It's compact and runs on two AA batteries, making it truly portable. The 85 dB alarm is loud enough to wake me from a deep sleep. I appreciate the LED status indicators that show normal operation or alarm condition. During a recent power outage, it kept working without issue. Pros: portable, battery-powered, reliable sensitivity, easy to mount or stand. Cons: no digital display for exact CO levels, but for a travel model that's acceptable. Overall, this is a must-have for anyone who stays in hotels or wants backup protection at home. I highly recommend it for its simplicity and effectiveness.

Reliable and easy to mount and use.
This is an easy to use self contained CO detector that works fine. Most people don't realize all CO detectors should be mounted chest height on a wall and not on the ceiling. Also ALL CO detectors start a 6 year internal clock and shut itself off after 6 years. You can't replace the batteries. It's an end of life feature and after 6 years CO detectors aren't considered reliable. This is a good unit.
