Salt Water Taffy Assorted Mix, 2 Pound Bulk Bag, 10 Assorted Flavors, Individually Wrapped Taffy Candy

Old taffy that apparently has been sitting in the warehouse far too long. I ordered two different 2-lb bags of salt water taffy from two different sellers on Amazon (the other from Donty Tonty) just to compare. Sadly this one lost out big time. The pieces are old in that (a) they have crusty edges which break off when unwrapping and (b) the body of the taffy pieces is not all that soft. The unwrapping in itself is an ordeal with the taffy often stuck to the wrapping. The body of these taffy pieces is also smaller than the other bag of taffy I ordered from the Donty Tonty page. Flavor-wise, not much here to recommend either. Pretty bland. So all in all I would save your money on this one and go with a better brand (Trader Joe's taffy is also much better).

The flavors are good but the bag we received must be very old. The taffy, which should be fairly soft and chewy, arrived dried out, with a crumbly crust that had formed on the outside of each piece and an unusually hard texture.

The candy is a little hard. Unfortunately my son's cap came off upon chewing it.

These were absolutely delicious—I ate them all before I even thought to snap a photo! The flavors were vibrant and satisfying, and they made for a fun, sweet treat. While the licorice wasn’t my personal favorite, the rest were so good that I didn’t mind too much. I do wish there were a few more flavor options in the mix, but overall, they were very tasty and totally worth it. If you're looking for a snack that disappears fast (because everyone loves them), this is a great pick!
