Mic Magic in My Pocket, my favorite Microphone set....a must have for any content creator.
Alright, buckle up this is gonna be a long one. I’ve been using the Saramonic Air 2 Person Universal Wireless Mic System for about a month now, and it’s honestly one of those rare gadgets that makes me feel like I leveled up overnight. I do a mix of content interviews, travel vlogs, product demos, and some chaotic behind-the-scenes stuff and this kit has handled all of it like a total beast. Not just “good for the price,” but actually great. Let’s start with the build and form factor. The transmitters are super compact, about the size of a matchbox, and they don’t feel cheap. The matte finish is nice, doesn’t show fingerprints, and the magnetic mounting is a game-changer. I’ve stuck these to shirts, jackets, camera rigs, and even a metal pole once to record ambient sound. They stayed put. No tugging, no awkward clips, snap and go. The magnets are strong enough that I don’t worry about them falling off mid shoot. The charging case is slick, think AirPods but for mics. It’s got a digital battery readout, charges via USB-C, and fits everything snug. I’ve done three full-day shoots without recharging the case and still had juice left. Each transmitter provides about 8 hours of runtime, and the receiver lasts even longer. I haven’t hit zero yet, and I’m not exactly gentle with my gear. Now, audio quality. This thing punches way above its weight. The built-in mics on the transmitters are super clean, with warm mids, crisp highs, and no overcompression. I’ve used them in echoey hallways, windy parks, and noisy cafés, and the noise canceling actually works. It’s not magic, but it’s enough to keep the focus on your voice. The included lavaliers are great too; they are omnidirectional, with a flat response curve that’s easy to EQ in post. I did a side-by-side with my Rode Wireless GO II, and honestly, the Saramonic held up better with less hiss and more clarity. The receiver is where things get really interesting. It has both 3.5mm TRS and USB-C outputs, so I’ve used it with my mirrorless camera, my Android tablet, my iPad and iPhone, and even my MacBook for Zoom calls and podcasting. No adapters needed. Just plug and go. There’s also a headphone out jack for real-time monitoring, which saved me more than once. Latency is basically nonexistent. I tested it with a clapper and got a sub-20ms delay, which is totally fine for video. Range is solid too I walked about 60 feet away in open space and still got clean signal. Indoors with walls, it drops a bit, but I’ve never had a dropout during a shoot. It uses 2.4GHz transmission. Pairing is instant. Like, open the case and boom, connected. No menus, no pairing buttons, no drama. It remembers your last setup and reconnects automatically. I’ve had gear that costs twice as much and still makes me jump through hoops to get audio working. This works. One thing I really appreciate is the LED indicators. Each transmitter shows battery level, connection status, and mute state. The receiver has a transparent, clear OLED screen that displays input levels, battery level, and output mode. It’s intuitive and doesn’t require a manual to figure out.... Love it... Overall, this kit is a total win. It’s compact, reliable, and sounds excellent. If you’re doing interviews, YouTube, TikTok, podcasts, or want to upgrade your audio game without spending a fortune, this is it. I’ve used Rode, DJI, and Deity setups before, and the Saramonic Air system holds its own. Plus, it looks cool, which doesn’t hurt. It's a must-have for any content creator, trust me, you will not be disappointed. I’m probably gonna grab a second set just to have backups or run multi-cam setups. It’s that good. If you’re on the fence—just get it. You won’t regret it.

Lightweight and Oh So Tiny, but with BIG High-Quality Sound – Recommended!
After seeing a few reviews online, I decided to get one for myself for my how-to lawncare videos. I’m glad I did it because I am very happy and impressed with the Air! The transmitter is so tiny and sounds so good, much better than some of the other systems I used. It sounds much more dynamic and full than any of those other systems and gives my videos much better audio and dynamic range. The lavaliers sound great, but I like to stick to the transmitter mic, and because it’s so sleek, it’s barely noticeable on camera. Either way, I’m glad I have them in case I need them. The noise canceling is fantastic and blocks out all the annoying noise from my lawn equipment when it is in the strong mode, and the weak mode keeps a little of the background noise in while still focusing on my voice. And what’s even better is I don’t sound any different than what I have the noise canceling off completely, that’s just how good it sounds. I’m happy that includes both the Lightning and USB-C adapters because I sometimes film with my older Lightning iPhone and other times film with my newer USB-C iPhone. And I can even plug it into my computer for voiceovers when editing. I have yet to use the camera mount, but as soon as I level up and get a proper camera, I’m sure I’m going to put it to use. Battery life is long and strong, and I can film all day without having to worry about running out of juice. I also like how the charging case has an LED that tells me how much power is left in the case. That feature is really useful when I can’t charge the case up after every use. One cool feature that I really like is the ability to turn recording on and off by double tapping the power button on the transmitters. It is great for me because I can frame myself in my shot and then I can start and stop recording without walking over to the phone and pressing record. This saves me a lot of time both when filming and editing, it’s a really cool and useful feature. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the system and I can’t wait to do more videos with it. Highly recommended.

Don't Bother Looking Elsewhere, Just Get It!
I use this mic system to teach larger classes. It works absolutely perfectly and I have no complaints. I reaseached tons of online reviews and concluded that this was the one to get. I'm very happy with it's flawless performance, and highly recommend it. Never a moments problem and always there to perform as advertized. Save yourself a bunch of research time and just order the darn thing! But it once and forget it.

When it works it's great, but the usb adapter connection is flimsy
I've now used this mic at PAX East and DragonCon, it really is a nice setup. The issue I ran into is that to use it on my Galaxy phone I need to attach the included adapter to the receiver. It's supposed to twist and lock into place. It doesn't take much to have it unlock and disconnect from the phone. I ended up using tape to hold it in place but that creates other issues. (The tape covers the charging spot). Since I only use it with my Galaxy Phone I'm going to glue it in place.. (or try to). The carrying case is solid, and the fact that it holds enough power to charge the unit about 3x is a plus. The gain controls and noise reduction are really nice. Doing 1-on-1 interviews on a loud convention floor is no problem for these mics. The speakers come through clearly, and the crowd noise is hardly noticeable. If you can deal with the connection issue as I have these are worth the hassle and the price.

This thing is AWESOME!!! Great Sound, So Tiny, and Powerful
I love the Saramonic Air! First of all, it is tiny as heck. The transmitters are so tiny, you can barely see them in my content when I mount them on my shirt, and they sound phenomenal. Full and realistic sound whether I have the noise canceling on or off. No Robo voice here, just natural sound that is fuller and more impactful than other systems I have used. The transmitters are so sleek and easy to use, and I love the double tap function to turn on recording on my phone. I’ve only used the lavs a few times and they also sound great. I really like the way the lavalier clip is rotatable, so I can position it anywhere necessary, which is very handy when I’m trying to conceal the cable and make the lav inconspicuous. It really gives me a more professional look, when I’m using the system for more professional business uses. I am extremely happy with the system, and I am very happy it works with my Android phone, my iPad and my camera. I do wish that it came with a second pair of magnets, because I have dropped them once or twice and they’re hard to find because they’re so small. ;-D

Good Things Come in Small Packages
From the moment I opened this, I was impressed with the sleek design, but most of all, how tiny it was! The whole case easily fits in my pocket! You can see pictures the size compared to the Saramonic mic I've been using for the last year! I love all of the Saramonic mics I have, but this size is amazing! The audio quality is great! Both on the unit itself and the included lav mic! I love the versatility of having both, for more casual fast paced shoots or for more professional shoots where you want to make sure the mic is hidden! Lastly, on both previous Saramonic mics, and on this one, I love how they continue to use magnets, for easy securing of the mic! They're so tiny and yet so strong! I do miss the auto power on that my previous mic set had when you took them out of the case, and I do wish they had onboard recording for the transmitters, but I am more than willing to trade pushing my own power button to get the smaller size, and I've never actually needed the onboard recording. All in all, love this new product! 5 out of 5! Would recommend!

IRL Twitch Livestreamer APPROVED
The noise canceling for the gym and conversations around you is top-tier! I tested some alternate microphones when I bought them all at once at Best Buy and this was the best one by a longshot It’s easy to use and understand. There was a loud massage chair in my filming area and you can’t hear any of it. Sound is critical and content creation of all kinds so it’s great value for the money without over spending on an unnecessarily expensive mic just because of a brand name

The concept is great, but the quality is just not there
I bought this microphone kit because I really wanted to have two microphones for the content I was creating. Everything came in a very modern and user-friendly format, and I had a lot of hopes for using these microphones every day. But after only a few uses, the receiver stopped turning on even with a full charge. The microphones themselves appeared to keep running, but the receiver just wouldn’t work. I ordered a replacement, and that one acted the same way with just a few uses. Now I’m stuck with this microphone and no way to actually use it, because the receiver just does not work.
