Men's Moab 3 Mid Hiking Boot, Walnut, 8

I’ve recently gotten into hiking. I’ve always had problems with my current footwear because they always slip when I try to climb rocks. But the Merrell shoes has been great and has good grip, particularly when climbing slippery rocks. The only thing that I want to say is that the size fits but you need to wear it a few times to get a good idea of how the fit actually is since it may take a little bit of loosening for the fit to Get accustomed. Otherwise I feel like the fit is correct in terms of what my actual fit size are. The shoes are lightweight. Seems to be excellent materials. Very well made for hiking.

These shoes needed no breaking in. They were comfortable right out of the box. I bought the Moab 2 regular hiking shoes several months prior to these. I liked them, so bought these boots when they were on sale. These are my first Merrells, so I went to a local shoe store to try on different models. I'm glad I did, because the Moab 2 and 3 were the only ones that fit my feet well. My feet are a bit wide in the front and the other models were all too tight.

Fit is good and sturdy. So far I have only used it for light hiking.

As people who have worn Merrell hiking shoes, right out of the box hiked 6 miles and felt as if I had broken them in for weeks. Been going strong for several months without incident.

Husband really likes the boots. He has a wide foot and normal width fits perfectly, has been waring Merrill boots for years.
