My asko clothes washer requires this kind of detergent

It is getting difficult to find real family sized products in most grocery stores. This is the large box you used to buy several years ago. It smells and works like the original formula. It is also a great detergent to clean dirty garage floors.

I switched from liquid Tide and Kirkland liquid detergents to powder during the last year. My front loading washer seems to stay cleaner without the mildew smell I'd battled for the past 8 years.

This works great at stain removal. I didn't realize my liquid detergent wasn't getting the job done until I heard about "stripping" which involves Tide powder. I was appalled at the gunk in the wash water and how fresh everything smelled afterwards. It even removed that funky smell pillow cases sometimes get. Never switching again!

I really like using powdered detergent, which is now virtually impossible to find in stores. Some clothing , like Goretex, recommend powdered because it doesn’t coat the fabric and minimize the waterproofing.
