Finally, Pain Free!
I am a 61-year old woman who has been struggling with neck and back pain for years. I just assumed it was part of getting older. Someone suggested I use a knee pillow - I tried it, but there was very little difference in pain levels. However, after using this pillow for just one week, I am waking up pain free - and I sleep much better! Finally! I highly recommend this pillow for back and neck alignment pain - it is truly a miracle in a pillowcase. However, I can see why some people might not like it - it is much stiffer than an average pillow, but it does have cushion; and according to the seller, it will adjust to your body over time- you just have to be patient. It is expensive, but for me, it was totally worth it to be pain free!

It is a bit firm, but it's not rock hard like other reviews claim
Pillow is indeed too hard on the first day or two, but softens after using it a couple days. To me, it now feels like a normal pillow that is just slightly firm, to a comfortable degree. I bought the size medium correctly following the measurement chart (6 in) but I would go for large next time. The pillow is relatively thin. The thinness makes me want to put my arm under the pillow to add height, as I sleep on my side. There are very few reputable brand options for this shape of pillow. In my opinion, the reviews for this are too negative. This is a valid option worth considering, especially considering most other pillows in this shape are cheap and not from established brands. I will give 5 stars to compensate, but my actual rating would be a 4.5. I would guess the negative reviews are from people upset at the firmness in the first few nights, and not waiting for it to soften up. I will add, the full price is a bit expensive for what this is. At the thirty or so percent off I got it, I consider it a good purchase. But at full price, generic pillows are also a valid option, especially considering you ought to be replacing your pillow every so often.

This product doesn’t work
I normally don’t leave reviews about any product from Amazon, I allow people to experience things for themselves but I thought tempurpedic’s reputation was solid until I bought this medium profile neck pillow. I bought a previous neck pillow and it’s been good but I wanted an upgrade because tempurpedic should be the “best” right?. I REGRET buying this neck pillow. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I wouldn’t recommend buying this atrocity. While it has firmness to it, that’s not the issue I expected it to work and it didn’t it actually gave me neck pain instead of pain relief. My sleep quality has gotten so bad because I gave it a few nights just to kind of break it in. Do not waste your money. You can get a better sleep quality with a cheaper option.

No more sore neck in the morning
I've had neck discomfort sleeping for the last 3 years and have tried many pillows. I finally ordered the TEMPUR neck pillow recommended by my friend. She swears by it and and has used hers for many years. Based on my repeated measurements I ordered the medium size pillow. It wasn't comfortable, I returned it and ordered the smaller size. I should have paid more attention to the note...if in between sizes order smaller of the two. The smaller one fits just right, providing needed support to my neck and placing my head in a better position. It works for me both side and back sleeping so my nights are more restful. Before I got this I was switching pillows every time I moved from back to side sleeping at night. The pillow was very firm to start with. I followed suggestions I found online to break it in. I would stand on it and bend it a few times the first few days. Now it feels great. My friend was right, it is the only pillow I need.

Improves posture and better sleep!
Over 50 years ago I had an accident that left me with a compromised neck and mobility issues. As I got older I started devloping an artrhritic neck, constant pain, blurry vision, and poor posture. PT, some injections, medication, and use of a traction device over the years have helped. Recently I researched cervical pillows which brought me to the Tempur Pedic Neck Pillow. Honestly in the first week I have noticed I wake up a lot more refreshed. My Garmin watch also tells the story of higher HRV, O2, and sleep numbers. I hope doctors and physical therapists will consider recommending better sleep posture to their patients. No one ever did for me. At my age it may be too late to correct 50 years of poor posture habits but I know I sleep better now and feel more refreshed. This is a good product and should help healthy people provide better sleep and posture.

Too firm for us
My wife and I each purchased one of these pillows because we're both side and back sleepers, and on paper they seemed like a great fit. Unfortunately, they just didn't work for us. The pillows are clearly well made, and the cover and overall construction feel like you'd expect from Tempur-Pedic. However, we both found them to be much firmer than expected. Instead of conforming to my head and neck, the pillow maintained its shape more than I preferred. After about a week of giving it a fair chance, I was consistently waking up with neck pain and decided to stop using it. That doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad pillow. If you prefer a very firm pillow with minimal give, it may be exactly what you're looking for. It just wasn't comfortable for either of us, so we ultimately went in a different direction.

Fingers crossed but it fixed my pinched nerve
I had been waking up with a pinched nerve in the right side of my neck for a year now. It got to the point I could no longer sleep on my left side, or even roll over for 2 seconds without flaring the nerve. I was waking up with headaches every morning and even started getting numbness and tingling at the back of my head. This pillow has seemingly cured those issues, and I haven’t woken up in pain in two weeks. I sleep mostly on my sides but also on my back. Somehow this pillow works with me flopping around in any position. It did take about a week to get used to as its very firm. I can tell it’s softening a bit as I use it more. For me, it’s totally worth the price to wake up without feeling like I’ve been brain-damaged overnight. I will also add I got the travel neck pillow which should match the medium height of the full size, but it does not work for me at all. It’s not wide enough to support my head and I was left sleepless and in pain after a recent trip. The full size pillow is small enough I’ll just take that one wherever I go moving forward.

Absurdly Small
While I saw the dimensions and knew the size, getting it and seeing how ridiculously small it really is let alone attempting to sleep on it compared to any normal pillow (and my old contoured pillow) is eye opening. I’m only 4’11” and 95lbs so been looking for a pillow like this with lower contour bumps to fit my very small head, neck, and body. I’ve tried 6 pillows so far and none work (all too high increasing neck pain). I was really hopeful this would be the best fit and bought the small. I have a very small head and this pillow per LxW is way too small for any grown adult head (and I’m child-sized) no matter what position you try to sleep. The contoured heights may be close to what a petite person needs but the total size really needs to scale up so that you can sleep on it and have your head lay in the center of it. Proportions are just off too. Yes it is very firm as other mention, and I’m guessing over time it softens so that’s not even an issue. Better as a travel pillow perhaps as it will easily fit in a carry on bag. So disappointing.

Supportive pillow, good for short people too
I’ve used this pillow for a few months now. It took a few nights to get used to but it’s really worthwhile. I used to sleep on feather pillows and it always gave me neck or shoulder ache. This pillow is very nicely supportive. It’s quite firm so you’ll need to get used to it. There are two neck heights! As a short, petite person, I use the side with the shorter neck height with no problem. I’m a mostly back and sometimes side sleeper. Sleeping on the side is a little bit awkward because your arm can’t really go under the pillow easily. But I don’t consider it a deal breaker.

Great neck support
I bought this as a replacement for the same Tempur Pedic neck pillow that I've been using for over 10 years. My old Tempur Pedic neck pillow was starting to feel less comfortable for me so I bought a new one. However, I had a guest who used my old neck pillow and had no complaints about it. I love this neck pillow so much that I try to bring it with me during trips (if possible). I prefer to use my own pillow when sleeping on hotels because the neck support that I get from this pillow makes a big difference in the quality of my sleep. I strongly recommend this product. However, the medium size may be too small for some people.
