The answer from September 18, 2018 is not painting a full picture, and is slightly uninformed. Ploycarbonate (PC), like most any other plastic, can be colored. Polycarbonate is able to achieve great strength and clarity, which is why it is often used in clear applications, but you'll find colored plastic parts/products made of PC. BPA is also used in the production of most PVC products - from the looks of it, the storage bag is made of PVC, which is also likely why the product carries the Prop65 Warning (PVC is part of the prop 65 list of naughty materials). You'll see the same Prop 65 warning on most inflatable water toys, as most are made of PVC, because of it's flexibility, durability and ability to weld using high-frequency welding machines.

I have a 6 year old with Aspergers and he prefers Mega Bloks for building letters and numbers because of the unique shapes of the bricks. He will build letters and numbers for hours. We have Legos for buildings, cars, and other things.
